Interesting thread!  There is an awful lot of geographic diversity among this crowd.  I've mostly stuck to Asia with Hong Kong (of course), mainland China (particularly Guangzhou and Shanghai), as well as Thailand.  Outside of Asia, there were a few layovers in Dubai on the way to Saudi.  The experiences in Dubai were such to make one really appreciate what we have here in our own back yard, in terms of price, attitude, and looks.

Amsterdam in your worst list? I beg to differ. I love the red light district there. It's ol. It has history. And lots of hot Ukrainian chicks. It's on the list of "every punter should goo at least once" - especially when you can go get legally high a couple blocks away first. For $200 euro, you can have a hell of a lot of fun in Amsterdam.

Whatever floats your boat Intenseslacker.  My judgement based on my experiences and preferences.  There are definitely lots of attractive girls in the RLD but I found the overall service level does not match other locales.  The session is normally not GFE and girls just want you in and out of their room quickly. The RLD is also too public for my preferences. FKK clubs offer similar type of variety for just a few buck more, but with better service, cleaner rooms, and more opportunity to talk to a girl before making a choice.

Everything you say about the RLD in Amsterdam is correct. They are cold, professional women that want you out of their booth as soon as possible. But that's the fun of it. That and stumbling out of a red curtained door into a street full of drunk punters - some of whose will cheer and clap if it's a crowded Saturday night. It's not something I would do often, but it has a mystique all of its own in its historical grunge and filth.

The best is in the winter when it is cold as fuck outside, and the girls are all pressed up against the glass on the inside of their booths, and they bang on the glass to get your attention when you walk by. Then, when you found the best looking Russian or Ukrainian blonde, and she opens the door and scowls and tells you the price like she is selling old fish. And the blast of cheap perfume and cleaning products rolls out off her little stall... Yeah, it's no hong kong HG experience, but it is something fun, tawdry, andoriginal. It's to be experienced at least a time or two. Or three. Or every time you fly to Europe, and you pointedly make sure you have a 6 hour layover in amsterdam... Which I used to always do

Sadly, I haven't been in about 3 years. They tell me a lot of it is shutting down and being replaced with incall escorts, which is just sad.
