Hey guys, I've seen this error in 'english' (actually french) usage come up several times. From a recent post:
"got her cel number before session with real massuer begins. " The poster was referring to a massage session at a typical sauna.
If you're getting a massage by a MAN that provider is referred to as a "masseur" (a french term, but used universally). If you're getting a massage by a WOMAN then that provider is referred to as a "masseuse" (again, a french term).
I certainly do not mean to criticize anyone's english usage on this website, those who speak english as a second language here are doing far, far better at it than I'm doing with my miserable canto. Just thought you all would like to know the proper gender and usage before you show up in the U.S. or Europe and request a "masseur" from the hotel massage staff!
