Want to stay where the actions is so that can take the girls to the room walking. Wanted to know a decent hotel with a budget of HKD 1000-1250 per day which is girl friendly. I go to the electronics show and that is the 2nd week of April but I am sure there are some before that. If there is a trade show prices are sky high then so you might struggle on that budget. The only one I know that might fit your budget is the Bishop Lei but I can not imagine it is WG friendly as it is run by the catholic church, and its not in the heart of Wan Chai but just above LKF

Make sure when you book you specify a superior queen or double bed. It is clean, quite spacious for Wan Chai and quiet. It is in your budget and sometimes get below 900 a night. Is in a commercial building and two levels only so they book out quickly.

So just a comment for others who may read this thread in future... staying close to the action has advantages and disadvantages. Convenient for you to take girl back to your room, also convenient for her to make up some BS she has an early start in the morning so suddenly cant stay the night and rushes back to try and find another punter... pros and cons... having said that my favourite way to punt is to hunt in the bar of the hotel I am staying at. Solving the early exit strategy by addressing it head on from the outset. Of course not all hotels have such a bar but they should... should be a law about it! Bar Punting in HKG?
