Does the translator phone translate and talk in that language as well...that would be a great phone

Having seen how some translation services get the translation totally wrong. I rather think it will cause more confusion than ever especially when trying to deal with words such as hare and hair which are pronounced the same but have totally different meanings. Also, in a tonal language, will it be able to identify between the different tones? For example, in Thai, the word for far is glai (with a mid tone), but with a falling tone it means near. Alan

#9 Post at 11-2-2010 21:24  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Trouble is, it doesn't necessarily translate the grammar, for example the Chinese refer to the timefirst. ie. we may say "Will you go to China tomorrow?" where as a literal direct translation of the Chinese would be "Tomorrow you go China yes no?"
