Shit... I thought I was a big spender when I folked out HKD1,000 for a pair of sneakers.

My favourites are Blundstones - a great Aussie workman's boot that goes well with jeans and they last forever.  I have had mine for about 14 years.  Only the thing they need is a polish every so often.

Went out today to buy some new shoes - chose Nike. And they definitely make the best sweatpants.

I am into boots, love wearing KingGee and Hard Yakka steel caps.  No one steps on me.

For sport, always Dunlop.

I used to wear steel-caps sometimes back in oz when going to the pub, but the problem is that some nightclubs bar them.

RM Williams are the go to boot in Australia.  http://www.rmwilliams.com.au - you can buy them online, deliver worldwide.  They work well, as you can dress them up or down, and if you get the pair with the rubber soles, they are very comfortable and last a long time.  Good quality leather as well.  Well worth it.

Sports = Nike. IMO, they're the best and most comfortable for anything, whether it be tennis or training.

Dress = Rockport, Cole Haan, or Steve Madden

Casual: Lacoste or Puma Sneakers.

Nike, Puma and Adidas.

But mainly whatever is comfortable.
Flip flops are my favorite in the summer.

That pic of the Dior shoes is sweet!!

For me, anything black and leather is enough for me.  I can't wear white anymore, I look like a dork since they look too young on me.

Black, leather, and no logo.  That's enough for me.

It really depends on what I'm doing and where I'm going.

Whenever I travel, I'll bring my trainers (either Reebok or New Balance, it doesn't matter) because of all the walking I know I'll be doing.  The downside is that trainers aren't really acceptable if I want to hit a club or any other more formal setting and meet women.  So then I might pack a pair of dress shoes as well, which I don't like to do because it just takes up space and weight in my suitcase that could be used for something else.
