I didn't say Asians don't get charged. I accept they do, and - even lacking hard data - I accept they are charged more often that caucasians.
I said Caucasians do get charged, you can't deny that. They get charged when the place is buzzing.
My observation is that if I stay away from Wanchai for a coupe of months, I start getting asked to pay. And the more I stay away, and the busier Wanchai is the first time I go back, the more often I get asked to pay.
Conversely if I've shown up a few weeks, or maybe gone during the week before, spent some money, I get to walk in even at peak time on a Saturday night, when I (very occasionally) see a Caucasian tourist being asked to pay.
I'm not debating whether they're being racist, I accept they are. I'm just sharing that they do seem to be more selective than simply race.
