Sorry, I mean to say that I disagree that there could be a title of "ideal poster", and was not taking into consideration twice's definition (which I also disagree with!)  In short, what I was saying was that it'll be fun to identify the different styles of posting among ourselves, but the #1 type in twice's list just cannot exist simply because it cannot be defined...

Debater - one who only wants to debate for the sake of debate
Master debater - one who only wants to debate for the sake of debate and keeping afloat
Masturbater - one who only uses the site to get his rocks off

Not only for his own private stash but also to put on other boards in other forums to pass off as his own.  A dual personality thus develops.  Here, he is a Collection poster.  Over there, he is a Cunt Poster.

The SERIAL ANTAGONIST poster, who bereft of any original thought, resorts to putting up provocative contra posts to troll for his next victim.  Once he zeroes in on a victim, he will doggedly and abusively continue his tirade against the OP, just to get a re-action.  Trying to debate any points rationally with him is totally useless as his intention all along is to just provoke response.

One can even try to ignore him – but he will continue to be the irritating gnat that he is and will progress to increasingly aggressively tactics; even going into a war of attrition/death wish - when he knows very well that he’s only got a pea-shooter against the OP.

Then the inevitable happens – when some unthinking seniors and shoe shine boys “joins in the fun” of crucifying the hapless OP in a flaming war.  And the Coup de Grace when a particular senior, instead of properly moderating the forum, heads the pack of braying idiots just wanting blood.

In most other forums, these SERIAL ANTAGONISTS are very quickly identified and banned – but I have found out that it seems such conduct here is not only tolerated but actually condoned and official policy.  This is very disappointing as an otherwise lively and enjoyable forum is now no longer much fun to participate in.
