I like this remark. Not long ago I read, an another board, somebody wrote: "Always  better to be hated than ignored".

At first I disagreed with this statement because I liked to be a nice guy to people, so I try to behave nicely to others and expect the same treatment from them to no avail. Utlimately, I realised I was a no one.
I even remember a girl I knew. We were neigbours in the same residence for 4 months, had conversations, shared the same kitchen etc.... I met her 2 years later when I came back in the same place. Me very happy, smiling, I was like " Hi you !...I know you !". But the girl just looked at me and asked: " From where ?!!!"

Eventually, not too long ago, I experienced something bad in my workplace which made me agree that I'd rather be hated/talked behind than to be a no one.

Though, I hope I'm not going to make myself loads of enemies here

whether you are hated and talked about and therefore make an impression on people or that you are a quiet-go-about-your-own-business kind of guy, as long as you are happy being what you are then its all good. if u like the attention, by all means stir up some controversy here and there, be the loud one that is always the first to chime in so long as you can handle what comes with that. ultimately it comes down to who you are. having said that, if its for the purpose of being noticed and you purposely put on a show, that will come through too, and i dont know if being known for being a poser is necessarily a good thing, but so long as you are comfortable being who you are, who the hell really cares.

I was just kidding mate I don' t intend to be a trouble maker here.
I don't like any fighting on the forum neither in real life. I always behave myself.

I've been a member of several forums (mainly mongering and related to islam ) and never been a trouble maker. I've never been banned neither. I've never been a prolyfic poster in any board (150 posts was probably the maximum posts I reached in a forum). Therefore I've never been known anywhere and I don't intend to be famous here. All I need is my RA 30 to enjoy the pics, so I will strive to make my 200 posts

In the previous forums, I very seldom had a bad exchange with another forum member and when it happened, either I let it go quickly before it spoils the mood for everyone, me included. Either I apologise to the other member for the fault on my part.

I agree with you when you say: " whether you are hated and talked about and therefore make an impression on people or that you are a quiet-go-about-your-own-business kind of guy, as long as you are happy being what you are then its all good".
I've always kept a low profile and try to be discreet my whole life and I was happy with that. Untill I realised it could suit some people but not me as I end up being taken the piss out of by some people.

What I meant by: "I'd rather be hated/talked behind than ignored" is not that I want to stir some shit so that people will pay attention to me. I've never got any benefit from being a discreet guy who try to avoid conflict . On the contrary, as a result, people look at me as a "no one" and, many times, denied me my rights and even respect for that very reason. Hence, I prefer to act as a cunt (after proper behaviour showed no result) to get what I'm entitled to (something specific or just respect) and being hated for that behaviour than being ignored, looked down or taken for granted.

Like I said: "Eventually, not too long ago, I experienced something bad in my workplace which made me agree that I'd rather be hated/talked behind than to be a no one."  But that's already to many useless lines in one post and off topic, so I 'll call it a day now.

Cheers
