HI all,

How can I send a text message to a girl I see here?  I have found some that say they speak English & sent  ashort text, but haven't got a reply. I have tried several different girls.  Are the phone numbers listed here legit?

I really want to try & talk to a girl if at all possible before I am in Hong Kong next month.

Is that right?

Yeah, your dialing is right.  But your expectation is off.  You are 8,000 miles away.  An unknown stranger.  And if you are txting the number from the 141 DB..., well that is her agent... and he/she will ignore you without a local number usually.

These 141 gals usually have bookings made within hours of the event (or seconds in the case of a walk-up with 20 guys banging on her door each day).  The next day at tops.  They dont typically reserve weeks in advance if that is what you are trying to do???

First thing, if you are calling from the USA to HK, the girls will 100% of the time not answer your phone call because their caller ID display will say 'Unknown Number', no number will be displayed. You could be a telemarketer, a cop, or an annoying pervert. Any wg in their right mind will ignore these suspicious calls.

Second thing, if you wish to text a sms, the correct dialling is '+852 ********'. Texting internationally does not work with with whatever discount calling codes anywhere in the world. You have to use the universal calling plus sign '+' to signify it is an international text.

Even though an international text will display the phone number of the sender to the receiver, there is still no guarantee the receiver will reply to a number that is not local. She will think she is receiving a prank text. In addition she probably does not want to pay extra for an international texts which are usually not included in those unlimited local texts packages. But you can try.

Yeah I figured it might cost money to reply, so they might not. So, the numbers posted are not usually the girls numbers? Its an agent who will then contact the girl?

plus you will notice many DB profiles specify "must show caller ID" and this is not always the case when sending SMS from overseas.

once you have been to HK and met the girls either WU or HG or in a bar, you can get the personal mobile number. Then having told them you may be sending a message you have more chance of getting a response but still no guarantee. Certainly with Bar girls I have met and had regular repeats I get good results with both mobile and email to set up meetings before my trip.

Keep in mind the nature of this business is that girls often lose their phone change their number etc...

So many options when you get here no real need to do too much in advance.

If you are texting walkup numbers on the DB, then its the girls that answer.

If you are texting HG's numbers on the DB, then you are texting the agent.

In both cases, because of the cost of international SMS, they will almost likely not reply unless they believe they know you.

If you really must try, then I suggest you try whatsapp or wechat with walkup numbers... you may have more chance of a reply then... of course better so, if you can type in Chinese.

Also, don't read anything into the 'language' part of the DB... assume that none of them know English or only the real basics...
