hi, i am planning for a trip to macau next month

anybody know if D1 renovation has finished by then? i understand that they are moving to new location? anybody know where it is?

D1 is not yet complete.

Management is saying they are aiming for an August opening, but after many delays thus far, they aren't realyl confident of that date either.

I dropped by the Emperor 3rd floor and had a chat with one of the managers.  I did have a very good experience there though, and I'll post that late this week, just been busy with lots of projects.  

Rio is prob a better bet at this time.

since D1 isn't gna be open till late, and I'm planning on going to Macau in 2 weeks. would D2 be a suitable substitute? or would there be another.

I was hoping that D1 would be open by mid July so I could choose between D1 or FN.

isn't D2 a club not a Sauna? I don't even think they are related in anyway.

Just do yourself a favor and go to Familia Nobre and spend the night there. It's more expensive than D1, but given the reviews that people have recently been putting about their premises, I think that's better.

The old Darling 1 was kind of unique, with big, Bangkok-style bathtubs to have fun with the girls during the first part of the session. I'm not aware of anywhere else like that in Macau. I hope the new permanent Darling 1 location, once it opens, retains the bathing feature.

As mrfast says, D2 is a different animal entirely.

FN and Rio would be a good choice for those who don't need high energy showtimes with gimmicks. 18 would be good for those looking for huge quantity but willing to put up with a place currently under renovation. East and Sanado would be good choices for those looking for a smaller, but higher showtime-energy alternative.

And then there's the take-home option, whether from a club, from wechat, or from a sauna. If you stay at the Banyan Tree hotel in Taipa, your room can even have its own large hot tub and small swimming pool. But you'll be a 20 minute taxi ride away from the sauna scene. But you can have the girls come to you so easily.

Hmm. So many choices. Too bad I'm not back until November.

If you're after a fishbowl format rather than a full blown sauna, then you can also check out the fishbowl floor at the Emperor (as Markreyes suggests), knowing that some of the D1 gals have moved there temporarily. It was always more expensive than D1 though. FYI, the same gals line up in their fishbowl and their sauna line-ups, but I don't know if the temp D1 gals are appearing in the sauna line-ups, or just in the fishbowl.

Regarding D2 (not to be confused with D2 the nightclub in the AIA Tower), it has always been known as the lower quality version of D1, and with lower pricing. Haven't seen many reports from the place for a while now though. Does anyone know if it's still going strong?

Eh, so there really is a D2 counterpart to D1 that's a fishbowl sauna? I didn't even realize that - where is it located??

It's so confusing sometimes I once told a cab driver to take me to D Yi Hao (D no. 1) and he took me to Di Hao Sauna. good thing it's really close so no problems for me.

The nightclub at the AIA tower is DD2, next to the Divino club (striptease).

Despite reading some reports about D2 i really wasnt able to find the fish bowl during my previous trips to Macau.
The last visit i went to check out D2 Club which is a night club located at the 2nd floor AIA Tower just across the Emperor Hotel.

Prices seem to be roughly the same, with my Chinese girl at 1600 and I stayed long enough to realize the cheap shift Vietnamese girls are still about 1200-1300 ish late in the morning.  Models did seem slightly higher at about 19xx, and the solo Caucasian girl I saw (430) I believe was just over 2k.

The girls on the 3rd floor (fishbowl) are not the same as the 2nd floor (sauna).  They don't interchange, and it seems the D1 girls are only on the 3rd floor.

They still seem to have a decent selection of Chinese girls, some of the models, ie 775, 885 are still going strong.

The tub is missing, but the wash table isnt that bad either.  Actually, it feels newer and a little cleaner than D1, so not all is bad.  Less selection though for sure.

I really hope the new D1 has bathtubs...

I just found out the following about the temporary D1:  

Since D1 closed and is awaiting the new venue to open, most of the Thais and Vietnamese have gone home, waiting to return when the new D1 opens. They didn't want to move to the temporary set up on 3/F Emperor. As a result, they shifted a lot of gals from D2 to staff the temp set up at 3/F Emperor.

As for Emperor, as we know already, they previously had their own set up where the girls work both the 3/F fishbowl and the 2/F sauna line ups. However, since Darlings moved in for these few months, the Emperor gals only line up on their 2/F sauna, leaving the 3/F fishbowl for the Darlings brand. The Emperor gals will move back to doing both floors once Darlings has moved out to their new venue, but in the meantime they have been complaining about the decrease in business due to only having the 2/F sauna to work in.

D2 continues as normal, but with fewer gals because a lot have been relocated to the current temp set up at 3/F Emperor fishbowl. Their gals should return once the new D1 is opened and enough D1 gals are back from their respective countries, but it's suspected that many will also be located at the new D1 premises until sufficient numbers of the original D1 gals get back.

If that's the case, then D1 management is ripping the punters off, cos they have already shortened the session from 90 min to 60 min and still charging the same rate. And if the girls there are from D2 who are supposed to be priced lower, then it's not worth going to the Emperor D1.

Many have reached the same conclusion. But since the old D1 was so awesome, our hopes are high that the new permanent one will return to the previous level of awesomeness.

Was at D1 (at temp location on L3 Emperor Hotel) on 5/6/13. Spoke to 2 managers and the girl I chose and all 3 told me the new location will be opening in about 2 weeks. Seems quite reliable since 3 of them separately told me the same thing. My girl even told me she saw pictures of the new place and said it looks nice! Hope she is right.

However I got no idea if there will be any change in pricing or timing once they move to the new location. At their temp location on L3 Emperor Hotel I paid 1,600 for 60 mins.
