Macau Karaoke Bars and Discos?

I was wondering if any of you have been to a Macao karaoke bar or "disco" and if so, can you inform a newbie like myself what (if anything) makes them special?  Can you pay to take a girl home, etc?

When I told a friend of mine that I was headed to Macao, he said (very cryptically):

"Oh, dude... I know you love karaoke, but trust me, there is NOTHING like karaoke in Macao!"

What does that mean?

KTV or Karaoke are best when there'a large group of you indulging in the same passion.  The  room size will be allocated acording to the numbers in your group.   It' very much like private entertainment, and  you get to opportunity to choose the girls. Not sure of the pricing structure but you can either pay to have them sit with you for the evening,  alternatively pay for short time or overnight.  KTV 's have lost the one located in Rio Hotel which closed earlier this year.
