The way I see it is this site (at least the HK section) is never gonna come back. HK government won't allow it. Think about the news if this site is back up again how bad will the police and HK gov look... it'll be ridiculous.
SEX141 has been around since at least 2002 and has gone through at least three different sets of owners, all of whom had been previously charged, convicted and jailed. So either over time the site has been freed up (possibly through owners not renewing the domain name -- because they're in jail) or the site has been passed along or sold to new owners.
The site itself is irrelevant to the police in their case against the owners. The evidence is all in the books (accounting) and records the owners kept. The charges were for conspiracy to live off the avails of prostitution and for money laundering. In the latter it was because the owners were specifically involved in procuring girls. *IF* living off advertising from the site turns out to be an argument from the prosecution (which I seriously doubt because there are very strong arguments to be made for just providing a medium for advertising -- and there are many other online and traditional print media with ads for prostitution) then people will know about it during the trial.
