You'll get rashes, cuts, itch (with it grows), ingrown hair, etc. There are alternatives which is much better and more permanent. I'm blessed that my gf/fiancee has naturally sparse hair down there and especially her bikini line is so so well defined with about a finger and a half width from the pubic line. Recently I've found myself touching that area so often as it's so silky smooth and sooo erotic for her...
