As a big contributior to forums in London, I am about to undertake my first trip to Macau and wanted to see if I could get some answers to questions where I couldn't find the answers on this excellent forum.  Please help.

1. I read you can bring your phone to your seat, but can you bring a 7 inch tablet to your seat?
2. Can you pay with a credit card at a Macau sauna?
3. What is the best sauna for Japanese girls?  Any recommendations?
4. Any issues that a western guy should be aware of?  Saunas to avoid or saunas that are best for western guys?

1. I have seen people brought their MacBooks to the lounge seats. I dont think its a problem unless you are using it to take photos like a paparazzi.
2. Yes.
3.  Numerous saunas has Japanese girls. Limited but i would doubt the authenticity of these. Usually its just Chinese girls wearing yukatas or kimonos.
4. I could barely think of one. Maybe communication issues. Each of the saunas has its good and bad points. And there are too many saunas around. Its really up to your own preferences.

2. Yes but there's a surcharge of around 10% IIRC
3. No Japanese gals - if there are Japanese gals they are just Chinese gals who may be able to speak a bit of Japanese in Kimonos marked up for laowais. I heard that the new sauna in landmark is actually aiming to bring real Japanese - but until I get confirmation I'm going to say it's a load of hot air.
4. As a westerner your best option is a sauna since the price is pretty much standard across the board and there are English speakers within. All saunas reported here have a read and make your decision.

(1) You can bring your tablet. If you enjoy the facilities like sauna and pool, there're lockers around the pool area for keeping your phones. You have to check with the staffs whether these lockers are larger enough for the 7-inch tablet.
(2) You can pay by credit card, but the sauna charges you some service charges.
(3) To my knowledge, you can find J gals in 18, Rio, Supreme and Familia Nobre (FN). However, J gals in these saunas (except FN) are very expensive (over 3000 MOP).
(4) Expatriates are welcome. The managers can speak at least basic English, but not WGs.

1)As Alex said as long as you're not trying to take pictures in the public areas etc, or during showtimes nobody will object to you having your tablet with you. For phones they do have small lockers round the pools but i doubt they'd have enough room for a tablet so be prepared to go back into the locker room to get it.

2)Credit cards are acceptable, but there's always a very very slight service charge

3)Japanese girls, there's supposed to be at various saunas but as to the authenticity of them being Japanese...thats something i can't help you with

4)18 & Rio both have English speaking staff at reception, and Managers who are quick to explain, and many of lounge staff speak English.

I do find East Spa is very Western friendly, a lot of management speak English as do various lounge girls and pool girls,  a few of the full service girls speak english but even if they don't are willing to play!

One thing i have always liked at EAST, the late lamented Sanado and Rio, is that mgrs will always come over to explain any additional costs etc before hand just to make sure alls ok

Im pretty sure that AV is just to make the experience sound more kinky etc. A lot of saunas mention AV ie golden sauna will say some girl is
AV superstar, its just really a part of the category naming system for the girls in the sauna (you'll see the price lists for girl category once you go to the sauna) anything model/AV/superstar etc will cost ya more

AV Jap Girls are really expensive in macau. over $3500 HKD. but its so much cheaper in macau compared to Japan!

I don't know why you guys are telling him that the 3000HKD Sauna gals are really japanese. The koreans and japanese aren't really from korea and japanese. Koreans are usually from Mongolia etc. Japanese are just shorter Chinese gals with funny teeth and maybe have learnt a couple of Japanese phrases.

Unless there is really a report here where you've tried and tested with confirmation that the gal is from Japan - I reserve judgement upon the ethics of having a Japanese category in a Sauna.
