Done it many times. It's different. Generally tighter but not always. Lubrication is keyas the anus has no natural lubrication unlike the vagina. I actually prefer regular sex with the occasional anal sex for variety. Yet to find a HG who will do anal, though i'veread about WGs who do.

Switching from anus to pussy directly (aka A2P) while bareback or without changing condoms, can result in a bacterial infection, especially for the girl. I had an ex-girlfriend who experienced that as a result of an A2P move from me.
