At the corner of Pak Hoi & Temple, behind the tents, in front of the restaurant with dark brown wooden-facade, are PRC girls all dolled up. Very young looking. And I mean, young! Dressed up like typical young teeny PRC girls on a night out. They are usually standing together, in a line, shoulder-to-shoulder in complete silence.

I'm pretty sure this is the Pak Hoi/Temple street corner, might be one street up or down, but you can't miss them. In fact, I guarantee you they are there right now.

These girls look very different from the rest of the typical street walkers behind the tents and elsewhere in the area; as they are younger, prettier, and dressed much better (they stick out, trust me) and overall cleaner looking, so I at first ignored them... thinking they must civilians working at the restaurant trying to pull customers in. The next day, I was there again, this time in the early afternoon (before the tents on temple street were fully up) and the girls were again quietly standing there.

At this point I was a little confused, still no idea if they are hookers because I walked by them twice the night before without them motioning to me like the other girls on temple--the other street walkers there can be quite agressive, but these girls all but ignored me.

One of the girls was such a total stunner that I was drooling and simply had to make an attempt. I approached, stopped directly in front of her, none of the girls said anything (again, strange for girls in this area) and body language was statuesque. I said "hello" to the girl I wanted, she immediately became animated, she replied with bright eyes and a nice smile while motioning very awkwardly making the big "X" sign with her arms.... so I walked away.

Confused though, I walked across the street and observed them for a bit thinking maybe they really weren't hookers. I waited to see if anyone would "take them" and no one did in the 10 min I was standing there. I did, however, spot their pimp. He was honestly one of the grimiest, meanest looking pieces of humanity I've ever seen. He was standing on the corner holding his cellphone just watching the girls and looking at every john who walked by. I considered approaching him directly and offering money but I wasn't brave enough--this guy was ugly and mean looking. Haha.

I did make one last attempt after the girls were separated, I approached the same girl, who was then standing further down the street and alone, this time I simply "pointed up" and made the "lets go up" motion to signal I know how this works, trying to reassure her that I know the score--but she again gave the same response, kindly flashing the X with her arms.  

These are among the best looking street walkers in all of Hong Kong by miles and probably the best deal too--though I wasn't able to find out. My sense is there is a 'No Whites' Rule applied here, just like the PRC Lisbola Racerack girls.

I have personally seen the girls active at mid-day (12:00 noon and up) and later--you will see them unless a police foot patrol is making rounds (all street walkers tend to fade away until the police are long gone) , or all the girls are taken, or who the fuck knows what else. Sometimes I'm there and don't see anyone, but it's rare.

There's at least 3 girls, maybe 4. Possibly more, I can't say for certain. Also, there are PRC street walkers JUST outside the 7/11 one or two streets down and one street over (sorry, don't recall the corner name, just look for the 7/11 on a corner). Entrance to their room is right next to this 7/11, and that's where they stand.

So I am currently walking up and down temple street. I have been up and down the outside and the middle of the street several time and have not seen anything. Perhaps the operation north of the border has changed there movements?

Should probably mention that I was on the south end of temple street and I could not find the said 7-11.

Going up and down one street across either side now and found one potential on the corner of shanghai and saigon.

So after walking up and down these couple of roads for an hour o have concluded that the info is probably no longer valid.

You might be on to something geek. There's a dearth of any Temple Street market stall/stairway girls right now. Almost none.

I recon'd the Temple Street area on two separate occasions this week (@ 3pm~5pm, both days) and did not see the PRC girls behind either the market tents or at the 7/11 (one streets over/one or two down, it's on a corner). Ordinarily, I'd assume this was bad luck on my part or that the girls were 'all busy' or 'on a break', but having a thorough look around the greater area--I noticed a complete absence of other girls working the stair entrances behind the market tents. There were perhaps two or three girls at the very end of Temple Street with maybe two other street walkers who weren't hanging at the stairwell entrance, but were standing along the wall on a side street (both very ugly).

And there's something else... something odd happened while walking down the back of the tents the other day: an old woman sitting in a chair doing absolutely nothing, in front of open stairs, mumbled at me as I walked by, I was walking by much too quickly and thus unable to make out exactly what she was saying, but it sounded like whispers of 'girls...girls...girls'  .... I wonder if she was hustling me up the stairs for girls? The old woman in the chair is located at the northern most end of the market street on Temple, and she's new, she wasn't there before. The second time I walked by there were two old women there. Are they mamasans?

Note, this is not to be confused with the pink-haired old woman hustling you into her adult video store, she is located further down south on temple street.

In addition to all of this, is that I noticed a heavy police presence all around, from Jordan all the way up to Mong Kok: Foot patrols of two officers walking circuits up and down market street, with police vans parked/scattered around the greater area.

P.S. Slight correction to my original post: The PRC girls stand out front of a restaurant/karaoke with a white brick wall facade, not dark brown facade, as I had originally stated.
