That's right but now there's a vaccine for HPV that young girls are starting to get in UK. Wonder if its being given anywhere else?

We punters should also get HPV shot. It can prevent genital warts and penile cancer. Not to mention no need to worry about passing to our SO.

The USA is also pushing to get the HPV vaccine to girls as young as 12 since girls here start sexual activity especially early.  Hell, my first fuck was at either 13 or 14 with a girl younger than I was.

I have Hepatitis B and my parents and their parents are part of that 10% of Hong Kongers with it.  I was born with it but my body developed antibodies and I've never had any issues.  The only things I shouldn't do are drink too much alcohol (putting strain on the liver) and donate blood.  This isn't to say that everyone with Hep B would be as fortunate as I am, but it's also not this sort of super scary disease like some people think.  Anyways, there are drugs and pills (they're expensive so make sure you have a health and drug benefits plan that covers it) that help keep your Hep B levels in check if it becomes a problem.

not to scare you or what but HIV only will be detected after at least 9mths of getting it from WG. So in this 9 months , you will be the carrier and pass it to those who you have unsafe sex with .

I'm not a doctor, but as far as I know there's no special factor(s) that would make any carrier become a chronic patient.  All I can recommend is not to put too much strain on your liver like drinking too much alcohol.  No one in my family is chronic nor have any complications.  However, as a Hep B carrier, even with antibodies, I have to get blood work done every year just in case.  It's part of my usual annual checkup so really there's no difference in my life.  But again, I'm fortunate to be like this.

About 75% of all Hep B carriers will never develop any issues.  If I hadn't been told that I have Hep B, I wouldn't even suspect it because my entire life has been perfectly normal.

i'm not a doctor either but from what i know, some people who are born with it develop antibodies to fight it off but not enough to get rid of it completely so they become carriers.

i don't think the US have been requiring folks to be taking hep b, or c shots unless they have a high risk exposures to the disease. I just recently got my vaccination for Hep A, and B cause I demanded the shots. But I didn't know you need booster shots for Hep A, thought 2 shots and you're done for life.

You can ask for the PCR based test (PCR stands for Polymerase Chain Reaction and it's how they rapidly multiply even the tiniest amounts of DNA/RNA up to detectablelevels) and get an accurate test for HIV within 6 weeks of exposure.  PCR based tests are what the porn industry relies on.

I didn't do it.  Really I didn't.
