Here's a question for the guys who dress nice sometimes and sloppy sometimes: do you notice a difference in service?
No question there is "some" difference, if I have gone Wan Chai punting directly from work for example, I will be wearing a suit and tie. Try walking into Neptune 2 etc with a suit on and watch the gals climb over eachother to talk to you. Of course the explanation is money... and simply saying, there is a glimmer of hope that when the Gal says HK$2,000 you'll say "FINE!"
During the punt itself it can work for you and against you... if the WG thinks you will tip better or become a "regular", no doubt they will often work harder.
Nothing works better though than chemistry. Assuming you are not dressed like a homeless person, Having a a good attitude and friendly nature will do more than a tie.
talking about wearing... who wears their wedding ring (if you have one) during a punt?
