Thanks calaisien!
I was checking the prices from TST and the products were 10-20% more expensive. How much dicount can I get in HK normaly? for a cam???
TST is a good place to buy a suit, there are dozens of options. I use William Cheng - 38 Hankow Rd TST, however many choices. What you need to know is that most of the tailors in HK use a handful of manufacturers to produce for them. That may lead you to ask "so if there is little difference, why not just go for the cheaper price?" the answer is that different tailors have different production specifications. More or less features, better fabric, lining, trims, patterns etc. So the same sewing team but not necessarily the same quality in the end. When you find a tailor you like, stick with them. That has been my experience.
For the electronics, do not, REPEAT do NOT buy from TST if you want a bargain. Mong Kok is way cheaper and Bros have already posted good suggestions above.
Make sure you know EXACTLY what you want BEFORE you enter a shop. Their strategy will be to get you in and price what you are looking for at a very low price that interests you and gives you the impression they are well priced. Then they will regrettably tell you that item is out of stock... they will check if more stock is available but unfortunately for you it is a "discontinued model" and so no more stock and hard to get service parts etc. However... YOUR LUCKY DAY because they do have the NEW model in stock, and whilst it's somewhat more expensive it is the new model and has way more features... plus you need a spare battery, stand, case etc. In the end you will walk out totally confused having spent twice what you intended... BEWARE. I am lucky I was explained how things work before hand however I have so many friends who have fallen for this.
