International phones and caller id

I am in Hong Kong for a week and would like to make a booking with an agent (specifically Roy). However I brought my phone from canada and I believe if I call anyone in Hong Kong, it will not show my number so the agent may not answer. Is there any way around this? I do not want to purchase a phone in Hong Kong because I will likely not use it again after this trip. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

They don't answer blocked numbers because they have to call back.  Also, they don't answer international umbers.  Just buy a HK SIM card at 7-11  they are cheap.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yea I was thinkng of getting a sim from 7-11 but my phone is locked to my canadian carrier so I'm not sure if a Hong Kong sim would work with it. Do you guys have any other tips or work arounds?
