Unless you're white and wealthy, chances aren't great for you to find any freebies. Most reports I've seen have involved women who give freebies in hopes of landing the big whale (a.k.a. guy takes girl with him to the States)

It may seem to you the Thai girls prefer white guys over other foreigners. They don't really, they just want a foreigner who dresses neatly, is quite generous, and who grew up in wealthy nations (vis-vis Thailand).

Nope, quite the opposite. I am attractive (no real problem with finding civvies if I actually went out and tried, but WG's bring convenience and NSA), on course to work in a very high-paying field after I graduate from a top University, and on top of that am proud to be an ABC    
Just that the stereotype perpetuated starting from the Bill allowing soldiers abroad to bring home an Asian wife has perpetuated into a very white-centric culture when focusing on trying to get out of Asia. Don't believe me? Go to the Craigslist of any Asian City, Casual Encounters and flip through a couple posts. They specify stuff along the lines of "You must be a white or European man" on 90% of the posts, other 10% are WG's
