#23 Post at 30-5-2010 15:49  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L There's a much easier way to get rid of all camera info.  Just open the file in photoshop and save file as "save for web", then select jpeg or whatever file type you prefer.  Then click save.  All info will be erased.

" Paint " is a standard program on the most PC Operating System.  The process you just describe is the same for " Paint ".  I noted the process of removing Metadata can also be done with other program like Photoshop. Problem with PS, not everyone has PS loaded on their PC.    " Paint " can also be used to make your pictures smaller.

On a Mac, just open the picture with the Preview program and then in the File Menu, select Save As JPG. Then Select to replace the file and viola all the data is gone.
