Medical question (Blood in semen)

I've a condition that is freaking me out. I'm in Mainland China now and would go to a doctor when I return to my country in a few days' time.
Last week as I was having sex with my FB, I was shocked to see bright red blood in my semen. It was not just  a hint of it, there was a significant amount. However, the amount is about the same as a regular discharge. The same happened again on the following day.

Clearly we both freaked out but I am sure I'm clean as I had not had sex with anyone other than her for the last 6 months and she is most likely clean. I checked some online sites (very limited searches on Baidu) and most say that it could be as benign as a ruptured blood vessel due to rough sex and on the other end of the spectrum, prostate cancer. I did take a cialis 20mg, one a day for 2 days consecutively (inclusive of the day it happened). I didn't notice anything out of the norm, no rock hard erections, no throbbing erections, etc. I do not feel any pain during although some of the descriptions by people with the same conditions were quite frightening. I do feel some bouts of dizziness but it isn't that much of a concern.

About 4 days after the first incident, i.e. the third discharge, the blood now becomes dark brown. I was thinking that for the first 2 incidents, the bleeding is still happening, that's why the blood was bright red. However, now the blood has been stagnant and so it is dark brown? (clot? I'm no bio student). It's been about 10 days since the first incident and I am trying to masturbate to 'flush' it out but after 3 discharges (total of 5 since the first incident), it is still consistently dark brown.

BTW, from some of the responses at the medical site which I visited, a doctor said that it could not be any form of STD as there would be other signs of the STD before 'blood in semen' symptom.

Is there anyone here with the same experience or has some idea of what could be wrong with me?

Bro, do yourself a favor and get to a doctor. Nobody on this board is going to be able to wish this one away by telling you it's ok because it happened to them. And even if they said "Oh yes, I had something similar and it turned out to be XYZ", that still doesn't mean yours was XYZ. Clearly, this is uncommon enough that you need to get it seen to by a doctor.

Thanks Gherk. I will see a doctor when I go back to my home ground. I'm just trying to seek some clarity and hear from those who are more knowledgeable.

For something like this you are equally likely to get disinformation as good info - even if the poster is well-meaning.

And I would think that even a doctor would be reluctant to express an opinion without tests.

Think you should go see one ASAP though.

How do you know it is blood?  If your urine is just tinted with red, it could be something you ate.  Blood = wound = pain.

Go see a doctor.  If you are on the mainland for a while, the Chinese hospitals are fine.  I've been several times.  Or you can go to an expat hospital and pay 10x as much for the same tests.

Dood. Hope everything's ok...but hear from someone more knowledgeable? No one more knowledgeable than an actual physician. Any one here attempting to diagnose is purely speculation and you need more than that. Best of luck mate...

Although, i admit I'll be curious to hear the prognosis/diagnosis. Good luck

Damn, man.

It's Stage 4 Accelerated Scrotum Cancer.  Seen it before.  Only 10-20% survival rate beyond 6 months.

No point going to a Doc now.  Just enjoy your remaining time.  RIP bro.

Okay...  that was nasty of me... I know.   But dude... are you serious???  Ya got serious amounts of ever-darkening blood in your semen for, what.. over a week or two now?  And you haven't seen a doctor?

Man.. it could be nothing more than a hernia, or an internal injury that will heal.

Or it could be something worse.  Dont frickn wait man.  Go to a doctor.

I cant help but wonder if you are just trolling us with this one.  Couldnt imagine anyone NOT going to doctor.

Thanks to all who are prodding me to see a doc in China. I'm holding out till I return home tomorrow as checking from the online medical site, most of the patients with similar conditions said that patients above 40 most likely would require a prostate biopsy. So seeing a doctor here would be half baked and all I would get might be a urine test (to rule out bladder infections, etc).
An update to my condition, I did another 'flushing' out on my own and the discharge is close to normal. The discharge had some slight shading (very slight) and there is no pain. I'm not familiar with biology and how blood clots internally. It does seem strange that my brown discharge was 'evenly mixed' (presumably stale blood and cum) and there were no clumps of clot (which may result in pain). Anyway, I will go back to see the urologist and keep you guys updated.

Thanks for the dark humor and concerns.

Hi Stanley11,

You fucking serious bro?

Why would you ask a medical question to a bunch of bros who's only real expertize is paying girls for a quick fuck or two????
Get your dumb arse to a doctor ASAP and I wish you well.

I have to say I agree with Wander.

MODS,

Perhaps any medical advice / question posts should be deleted like BBFS reports?
Just a thought... I would hate for a young fella to take medical advice from this type of forum.

The occasional thread like this serves to remind all of us that there are questions we just shouldn't try to answer as laypeople.

as per forum rules, discussions and advise on medical issues are not allowed ... the standard reply is to tell the person to seek proper medical advise

I have a slightly different view on this, the guy is just seeking some reassurance, he is stuck in a foreign land freaking out a bit,  (I know I would be) he has not come here for medical advise but you never know some one could come on and say I have had that and it all worked out in the end. A couple of reassuring words to calm you down cant hurt at times like this. He has stated first stop the Doc when he gets home which is what I would do unless I was faced with waiting a longer period.

Hi Cruman,

Fair point as long as he goes to a specialist for the real diagnosis.

I had a mate who did DATY with an SW in Shekou and got the ol' black lips.
He walked in to the Doctor and the first thing the Doctor said "Ahh, been to Thailand?" LOL

that's not the point … a medical doctor needs to do examinations and/ortests before he can diagnose the problem …
