Hey there guys, I need your help or insights. I'm going to meet up with a chick next week to have some ride... the thing is I don't know any motels in TST or anywhere else in HK Island.. I mean cheap rates, because we're probably going to only use it for around 2-3 hours max. Any suggestions will be mostly appreciated, thanks.

Walk around Mong Kok, near the computer selling place and around the Mong Kok cinema there are some rent by the hour places. Quality is HIGHLY variable however.

Victoria hotel charges about 280 for 2hrs. Though they charge 400 after midnight.

I google for a phone number and call shortly before going so as not to get caught out. Last time I used one in TST my first choice was full...quickly called back up hotel and they had room.

  1. Eden hotel in Wellington St in Central - nice hotel-grade rooms, they have feather duvets unlike the others, but towels are getting a bit tired and shower is anaemic
  2. Villa Victoria opposite Tin Hau MTR - probably the best quality+value, and the showers are awesome ... pro tip: if she's a nice girl take her in the Tin Hau Temple Rd entrance to avoid the body-scanner at the Kings Rd entrance fruit stall
  3. Villa Victoria in WanChai - convenient, still OK but has a slightly seedier decor

If you have a car you can find good value in Kowloon Tong ... the majority are very run down and seedy, but this place does a good job
