as for the WG she has to have the rights to work here and in the case of the HG they dont.

as for punters, its the embarassment factor. they could do all sorts of crap and make you go back to the police station using the tactic of "we would like you to help in our investigation". They have used this tactic to keep punters away which would kill off the people who make money of the business.

as for rights in HK. you have all the rights associated with the Geneva Convention i bet you but they also have the right to ask you to go back to the police station to help with the investigation. It's insane that the govt basically wants to wipe out all forms of night time business.

Oh damn, I didn't realize seeing HGs was illegal. I haven't actually gone to one yet luckily, I prefer places like Dundas, or if I want a treat, head over to Macau. If the punter is with a girl w/o the right to work, does that get him in legal trouble too?

Why are you referring to the Geneva Convention? It only relates to humanitarian treatment of the victims of war, not to WGs or the treatment of punters seeking sex in a police raid!!!

no it wont. as you simply say hell i didnt know. the only person that will be in trouble would be her and her pimp. punters wont get into trouble unless she was under-aged. punters mostly are asked to leave and not to come back. on rare occassions you get asked to go to the police station but thats just being an A-hole.

No, unless they can prove you conclusively knew she was an illegal, which of course they can not. The worst that can happen is as mentioned above they can choose to detain you for the embarrassment/annoyance factor in the hope of deterring future business.

i dont have first hand experience. only a nephew who is a sergent in a police force and a top lawyer friend. is that good enough to comment? hehe. as I said i just threw out the Geneva Convention as a joke. if you cant read the funny side of it then 1) leave it alone or 2) I can edit it.

basically all i am saying is the police are cracking down and punters are safe just they may hassle you and put you in an embarrassing situation just as Leyxia said.

I guess then you're OK after all. You can always call your sergeant nephew to call of his fellow officers not to harass you unnecessarily. If you get caught with a WG working illiegally, the police can always choose to harass and embarrass you (even though, technically you have not committed any offense) or just to let you go. Good connection to have but then your nephew will have to keep your secret from the rest of the family.

The legal age should be 18.  I believe it's also 18 in China also.

Legal age is Sixteen (16).

Prostitution is ILLEGAL in China no mater what the age is. The penalties are greater if she is under age. See Hunter's jail time for the crime and age.  If a girl you think is under age, check by asking for her. Double check by asking for her ID.

Talked to the WG I was doing and she said she didn't know there were
