Finally Federer stopped dominating everything, the living legend =) Over here we cheer for the Swede Robin Söderling

He was definitley injured. Though he could play thru and did not want to give his opponents mental edge by saying anythin.  Odds are nadal and federer stay on each others heals for years.

It's great to have rivalries, and this is a great one. Federer has been so good for so long on all surfaces, and Nadal started off being the clay specialist and getting better on other surfaces. While I like variety for title matches, I wouldn't mind seeing these 2 go at it in grand slam finals all the time. Its really good tennis that I enjoy, like an Agassi, Chang type as opposed to Sampras, Becker ace fest.

I would say I used to watch a bit of tennis, don't follow as much anymore.

I guess back in the day, you had the baseline players, serve and volley types, and you had your going rallies, along with the odd ace. So it was kind of interesting seeing the power game with aces, as it was sort of new. I actually enjoyed watching Sampras back then. But soon realize the game was changing, with people starting to relying on the power game and holding serve. That other aspects of the game being overshadowed. Well nowadays it's all about power and too much of any one thing makes it boring.
