New to HK and new to punting. Bad combo huh?

Haha I understand but keen to try it out...we all start out somewhere.

Any advice on where to go? Anything to look out for? Scams?

Act confident and know that any sob story you get will be bullshit. Think of it like bargaining on the market, there are plenty of other sellers out there offering the same for less. You act nervous, they will exploit you without hesitation so do the same first.

Yes, read the board.  
Read the newbies section.
Read reports.
Repeat, until you start to get a sense of the patterns.
Then choose any girl you like (better yet, make a short list of 3-5, reasonably close to each other, so you don't end up feeling you have to take whatever you're offered)


Not really.  
Truth is there are plenty of girls who are sensitive and genuinely caring.  If you don't have chemistry at the door, walk away.  
And as with all aspects of life, be ready for some disappointments, and be ready to walk away if you're not feeling comfortable.  Of course, shoot for the stars, but you have way more fun if you're modest in your expectations, gives you a better chance of exceeding your hopes!
You can end up finding some awesome gems, but you'd be dumb to expect a mind-blowing experience on your first foray.


Again, read reports.  The vast majority are positive, very few are critical.  
Most usual scam is you end up being asked for more money on some pretext or other.  So the worst thing that happens is you might spend more than you initially intended, or have blue balls, or both.  

Antidote is to be up-front about what you want - and check a) price b) how much time c) what will she do?  
Get her to talk.  First rule of negotiation.  
Oh, and make sure you know the price on the site, before you visit her!  Just in case she's cheeky
