Makes sense that a lot is in Japan because of limited space.  I am surprised that New York is so far down the list.  Real estate in NY is ridiculous!!!

Real estate in NYC and other US cities got stuck in the bubble when there where lots of European with strong euros that purchased apartments in ultra luxury buildings. Not just in NYC.  I Florida condos could not be built fast enough.  Same in las Vegas.  When the music stopped prices crashed.  It seems NYC is by far the most resilient. Even though projects got cancelled and prices dropped it seems the devoid has been pretty strong
