I'll say it again...

...the crappiest HK food is better than the best NYC food minus the lobster and steaks

When in hk had the roasted duck at as many places as possible.  Awesome stuff.  Agreed no comparison to the states.

There was an outdoor restaurant in the new territories, I believe it was Tai Po area where they had aquariums outside for you to choose which live seafoods you wanted. The Pissing Shrimp was so memorable as it was the first time I've had it since being introduced to it in Canada via Steven Chow movies.

Juicy right out off the pan!

In Central, go to Yung Kee Restaurant (http://www.yungkee.com.hk/), located on Wellington Street, just next to Lan Kwai Fong. They are famous for the roasted duck but has an excellent roasted suckling ...

Excellent thanks bro!  I'll definitely give it a try and report back with my impressions.  I'll be coming in late so I hope they're open late.  I know I'll be in the mood for a couple of late night snacks.  First the duck and pig, then the ladies.  ;)

is it further down the road? yeah yung kee and tsui wah across is perfect, if you cant get in at yung kee, just go to tsui wah.

it's great to see that tsui wah actually has a few locations across HK, like the one behind Sogo in CWB and the one near the K-11 mall in TST and the one in Jordan (the latter two I usually stop over on my way to, or after visiting HG)

In my opinion, the best HK style burger is a snack shop where located in Hung Hom! It muh more better! And the roast pork, I recommend a shop call 再興 in Wan Chai !!!

Well I fly in around 7 p.m. HK time and I should be done with checkin no later than 9:30.  I suspect there'll be plenty of places in Wan Chai open that I can grab a great late night snack.  And then another late night snack, WG style.  ;)
