Algeria's Chaouchi also has his own problems.
It's a race between the two goalkeepers not to make mistakes.

Diego says sorry to Platini, but not Pele
June 18, 2010

Diego Maradona has apologised to UEFA chief Michel Platini for recent comments but openly made clear he was not sorry for what he said about Pele.

At the end of a news conference after Argentina's 4-1 win over South Korea, Maradona sat back down and pulled out a letter from Platini "in which he clarified he'd never said what you journalists claimed he had". He added: "I want to say sorry to Platini, but not to Pele." However, it was an odd statement given his original remarks had been made at an earlier press conference.

Maradona had attacked the pair after reports that the former players had been critical of his coaching style. He told reporters "Platini is French, and he believes he is better than rest" and renewed a feud with Pele which has been rumbling for a long time, claiming the Brazilian "should go back to the museum."

Asked about Brazil's performance on the pitch, Maradona said that Argentina's fierce South American rival were not tested by North Korea in the 2-1 win on Tuesday. "Brazil played a relaxed game, too relaxed," he said. "Korea never challenged them. For [goalkeeper] Julio Cesar, it would have been the same to shower or not after the game."

Maradona is an attention whore, he was only good because he took so many drugs.

Agreed! He is trying to attract attention and controversy. Who is better than Pele? I really hope Argentina will be knocked out by either Uruguay or Mexico. Damn you Maradona. From the beginning, I think he is a cheat and also a junkie, however, I know he is a really good football player. No arguement here.

England is overrated. Looks like a goalless draw. Algerian seems to be doing all the good attacking football and have many fouls commited on them. Even the 2 Princes - Harry and William looks nervous. Hopefully, Emgland will have a marginal win, a Penalty perhaps?

England manager Fabio Capello has to find a solution to the problem of not winning!
They must win Slovenia in order to progress any further.

It's seems that England is missing the accurate long range passes from David Beckham.

USA tied yet another game. It's a miracle they came back during the game against Slovenia coming back from a 2-0 score to tie it 2-2 and almost had a chance to win it. That was a good game and it was also the first game i actually watch since it started. I've just been catching highlights on espn.

USA did get robbed, thanks to that dumbass ref.  That was as beautiful a set piece of a goal as I've seen - all taken away.  I thought for a minute on that play that Donovan was going to pull a Ronaldinho on Calamity James and try and kick one over the keeper's head.  US by far the better team and it's a shame the game ended in a tie.

Hopefully England and Rooney can get its act together and hopefully the US can dust off Algeria, then world order will be restored, at least for a day.  It was looking like the US would meet Germany in the Round of 16 if the US would advance, and now I'm hoping for that.  Germany looks non like the Germany that we're used to seeing at the WC.  Looks like a down year for them what with the death of Enke and the injury to Ballack.

Damn referees - that Mali referee robbed the US - the only people happy with that would be the English.... but they are with the back to the wall. Playing rubbish like last night, they will go down to Slovenia for sure - bye bye and don't even dare to go back home...

IMO - Calamity James was the best player in the England Team while playing against Algeria. Ironically, John Terry was a player we should forget immediately. WFT! Committing needless fouls and passing the ball to a green shirt player instead of a white guy.

Calamity James was as cool as a cucumber then. I hope he will perform better against Slovenia come the last game of Group C. WTF! England has only scored a miserable 1 goal so far, how do they expect to win the World Cup with this kind of 'Top' form. I think they better start packing their bags and get ready to go home.

Yeah devoted my time and money to watch the England games at one of Macau's finest establishments

Maybe its an omen for the next game not to visit Macau and stay in HK to ensure they can actually win

What is your meaning of "'so boring"?
Do you mean the England match or something else?
Please clarify?
