Ps3 Hacked?

Was reading this article about the ps3 has been hacked allowing you to pull games on to the HD and play off that.. Anyone heard anything? wouldn't mind doing that. Rent.. Copy .. keep

I think you better not do that for your PS3. My friend did it for his PS3 but the whole device did not work later and need to buy a new one.

Well if you want to get someone to crack your ps3, the place to hit up in hong kong island would be 188, they do it there... the downloading part you do yourself and just dump on the games on the hard drive.

Yeah I've read about this too. I agree with bro DonaldDuck taht if theres a place to get it done, its 188 or at the corner of Fa Yuen Street in Mong Kok.

I would advise against it though, cos once Sony release a firmware update, which would be pretty soon if not already, cracked PS3s may be "bricked" and as bro Harolda says, you'll have to get a new one.

I used to only buy pirate games but now only buy the real stuff, cos if the game companies arent making money, then we won't get new and better games, plus I get a lot of shit from my friends who are games designers in UK!

its because it opens the ps3 completely, it gives FULL read and write permissions to the user, so you can pretty much do anything with the machine....

took the kid who hacked it 5 weeks...
