I really have to agree with Alfred here. There was simplicity and honesty to the old photos, something which I had forgotten about until I went through this whole thread and looked at many of them.
The photo shopping that goes on today really lowers my expectations and disappoints me. I think the product we have today is just as good as 2003-04, but there is certainly a let down as you see what you get when you rock up to the hotel. It is the same stuff but the better quality packaging at the front end when you are window shopping on line raises your expectations – the lightened skin, enhanced boobs, blemishes and tattoos covered up, the reshaped and blue colored eyes.
The most extreme PS happens with the hotel girls, I guess the thinking here today, grab the $$ and disappear. Many times when the door is opened (and they always hide behind the door when they open it so you have to walk into the room and they close it after you enter) and I get a look at them I have to look carefully to see if this is the same person in the photo or was I bait n switched.
For me of late the most important part of this forum has become the section WGs uncovered ~ Real Pics from Chinese forum as I can really see what it is I am getting. I typically will look at this section first and see what is really on offer, and then after making a short list look at their official listing.
God bless you brothers who are cheeky enough to post real life photos, and those lovely women who will allow you to show their real face. I think those of you here with the language skills and phone cameras should seek to persuade the HGs to let you take their photo and put it on the site as a means of increasing their exposure and traffic .
Of course some of you guys are volume purchasers. My HG consumption is 1x/month so I can live with the occasional disappointment, another reason I like to stay with my regulars who are middling on looks but long on service and GFE.
And separately I would ask that the moderators here give ALFRED KU about 5,000 credits if he can come up with some photos of Cookie. In 2003 there were no camera phones; I can still visualize her perfect breasts .

As I have said before, there were more attractive WG/HG charging at a reasonable price during 2003-06 or maybe 2007.
The HG quality today maybe the same as that in 2003-2004, but definitely not the quantity of high quailty WG/HG available, the frequency of super attractive WG and the level of service charge.
If there are a lot of high quality HG today, we don't need to search for personal photos taken by fellow members before making an appointment.
Now, you select your list of WG in the 141 database and at the same time looking for reports with personal photos of your target WGs.
This is being done to verify her appearances and body features but seldom the case earlier, we read reports mainly for her personality, service levels, any special services, etc.
Otherwise, people just have to follow gwailoplayer's sequence of looking at the report section first and then the 141 database.
A simple comparison test between now and 2003 can be used to justify the points.
Examine your weekly WG shortlist, what's the total number of WG that you have selected in the two periods?
Do you have a hard time in making a final decision in these periods?
Most of the PS photos try to make the WGs look younger.
They look like under twenties in the photos, but actually they are early or mid twenties.
It's absolutely clear that the photos in the early days reflect the true appearance of WGs.
That is "What You See Is What You Get" (WYSIWYG)!!
I am just a bit depressed with a senior member's comment about requesting for real photos.
i.e. meaning that these photos are unreal photos?
In fact, these are REAL photos.
Though, he may argue that they are still PS modified with the watermark and the logo added.
