Strange how one picture comes up and WHAM... GREAT memories all comes back.... whilst I most times forget what I did yesterday!!

Those days, it was not only money but TIME that was at a premium for me - and when I did have a chance to do a "Hotel Girl" or "High-clock Gal" as we used to refer to them - it was full of anticipation and enjoyment every second I was with them.

Prior to the advent of sex 141, the chicken head/mommies were amongst my most valuable telephone numbers!  I'd phone these chicken heads (who was quite famous in those days) and arrange to go up to some pretty swanky hotel rooms (real 5 stars hotel quite common) and had to pay $1,400 for Chinese gals and $1,600 ++ for Japanese, Korean and other foreign meat.  

SEX 141 and its ilks has really made the cost of mongering in Hong Kong down to being affordable to just about everybody.  Besides the Hi-clock gals, the ONLY other alternatives I had (and I think most other mongers of those days too) is either the Nightclubs like Tonnochy, Club Deluxe, Volvo etc - where one needs to be prepared to lay out at least $2, 3,000 just for the nightclub session and then fork out another $3,000 ++ for the actual session.  and oh yeah - the tea dance which saves you maybe a thou or so.  One could of course also go to Mongkok and the yellow board places - where prices has remained constant for so many years;  but $350 - 400 is worth a lot more those days -PLUS Mongkok was really NOT as "orderly" as it is nowadays.  You really take your chances!!

Just my recollections - apologize/hope I did not break your "cadence" and photo posting too much.  Had considered posting this on CTan's post on the good old days but he seems to gravitate towards Taiwan, Singapore etc and not Hong Kong - so thought it more appropriate here.

It'd be great if others here - especially older mongers like Twice - would also contribute their memories... and let me re-live some of glory days!  Mongering these days is just tooooo easy and no big deal - at least for me, whilst those "earlier days" I don't know.... seems to be more "special"  

And just in case if you're wondering - I'm 27 (just had my birthday) 6'2" 190 lbs blonde and blue eyed from Sweden.
