Smallville Season premiere of the 10th and final season comes out on the same day as SuperNatural S6 (Sept. 24). Can't wait!! Any other fans here? Now that Smallville is almost over, I need another TV show to fill the void. Any suggestions?

I dunno i find Smallville to be quite irritating, the concept was great and the idea of the show initially was nice, however 10 season and his lack of an ability  to fly is rather irritating. The pace of the show is far to slow considering how long it has been on.....

Though he's finally donned the Superman suit in S9 season finale.. thank God for that. I watch Tru Blood as well... great show and trying to play catch up in the 2nd season. Heard lots of great things about Mad Men will give that a go. My opinion, Lana Lang in Smallville... shiet... don't even have a word to describe her hotness!

That's why I prefer series like True blood and Mad men, it's targeted at an adult audience.  However if you enjoy the teen angst dynamic you should look into "Vampire diaries". But I am not sure how I feel about Supernatural Season 6 - it was originally meant to be a 5 season show and should have ended there - but the network decided to go for a cash-grab and make another season. The show-runner/writer Eric Kripke has stepped down from that role, as I gather he didn't want it to go another season (but he's still there as an exec producer - Eric has to eat I guess). I'll watch it (thanks bit torrent!), and hopefully it will be good. But really, where do you go after defeating the devil? I'm expecting it to be a bunch of Monster Of The Week episodes, or maybe a story arc involving getting back Bobby's soul?

No, they won't do that. I do not believe the devil will be back. The official word from the show is that S6 will focus on the Brother's relationship, whatever that means. I thought the last 5 seasons were pretty heavily focused on their relationship! Oh, and as for Sam coming back - if the show had ended as it was supposed to - Sam would not be back. That was the real end of a 5 season Supernatural (and the showrunners were talking about it being a 5 season show for a long long time now). But like I say, they went for a cash-grab, and are doing another season...

#16 Post at 20-9-2010 19:22  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Nah i don't think there is any significance to the relationship aspect, it is just that season 6 is supposed to divert from how the show was initially focused on the devil.... supposedly it will deviate into a new aspect that will recapture viewers... (initially they were planning on canceling but because of high viewer ratings, they decided to renew the show for another season).. although i doubt that that is possible, i don't really see where the show can go to... but it will be interesting to see the change that the writers try to take on.
