I recently had another visit to Japan and found myself in Osaka. After much reading about the red light districts Tobita and Matsushima Shinchi, I decided to check out Tobita and see what the fuss was all about since it was near my hotel. At Tobita, the place was insanely packed, I believe due to the end of year holidays. The streets were just completely filled with dudes walking around and honestly, I enjoyed the atmosphere of just being able to walk around and the nice lighting. There are cops riding around on bicycles so it seems pretty safe, and I also saw them accosting a couple of people who were just standing around with their phones out, possibly telling them not to take any pictures. I mainly just walked around to soak in the atmosphere and check out the girls, who for the most part were all very pretty. There's also a back alley that's much less popular where the older women are, if that's more your thing. I ended up not choosing anyone and headed back to my hotel to do more research.

The following night, I returned again and honestly it was very hard to pick. For reference, I'm Asian so I got called by every shop.
