Well, my SO has just got it - sods' law as it's only been a few times since we;ve done it and I have always done it
with the hat on - plus i am a pretty hygienic person.

The doctor has said that she should try and not have sex at all (..!), whereas searching on the net has found
that you should rest from sex from a week to anything like 2 months.

Has anyone experienced this with their SO's and how long did she rest up for. Also has anyone got any good source on the
'net that i can convince her that it's ok to do it after x amount of time?

but i think the doctor is correct. better take medicine and no sex until no more fluid comes out (or the fluid is clean and clear) first. so i think 1-2 months should be ok.

YOu might get infected with UTI from her if she is not fully heal. Furthermore, sex will induce bacteria into her pussy and it will take longer time for her to recover.

I wonder if it's pretty common for WG/HG's to get it, as they get through a high turnover of punters normally. I'm concerned for my SO obviously, but also thinking it's pretty bad luck as we've only done it a handful of times so far. Always been 'suited' too.

That;s a question I've been asking some of the WGs I met before, apparently, they are less prone to UTI but more prone to STD. Maybe they are immune to UTI, too mild for them.   
or maybe they clean their puss all the time, before and after the session.

In China, most of these gals will use  "douche" to inseminate and squiritng aqua/solution into their vagina for cleansing and rinsing. This will keep the vagina/cervix moist and smelling fresh.  Rinse away odor and most believe getting rid of bacteria.

Although my family doc  believes that douching changes the balance of natural chemicals in a gal's vagina and can make it easier for the gal to get dangerous infections. Because the chemical balance of the vagina is very sensitive, it is best to let the vagina clean itself naturally through secretions.
My doc also said UTI can be contacted through public toilet and how you wipe your ass (never inward).

I tried several times to encourage my ex-SOs to use douche, they got pretty be offended.
As a matter of fact, lots of Civi gals have no idea about the douche existed in the pharmacy.

As for STD, this is a transmitted problem. I will not go into this bcos I am no expert. so leave it at that.

I was suffering from UTI  several times for the past few years, never from WGs but everytime from my SOs. Sometime, no shower before or after sex as a result of spontaneous intense and passionate sex.

The best thing you can do even as a guy is to urinate after sex.  This helps to clear anything out of the urethra.  A z-pack for a bro and things will be fine.

Girls tend to get this and yeast infections pretty easily, whether their SO is a player or not. I know it is hard as if you are a player and she gets you may blame yourself, or worse she may suspect something. However, if you are suited up the whole time with both the SO and the WG, then very unlikely you have given it to her.

I guess I can understand now why some girls dont like fingering - must be really susceptible to UTI's.

So i guess in the future, take showers before sex? This is kindof a turn-off for me, especially when in passionate moment, then stop, strip and shower..!

i think it is part of nature.  with a WG you will tske a shower most of times but with a SO you should run the risk.

I think UTI is not STD right? It is quite easy for gal to get UTI, so they usually just take some antibiotic.

I dont think DATY can get UTI right? Otherwise how come so many WGs let people to have daty?

Yeah, i dont think she is a player at all but i just think it is bad luck. I guess i'll just be patient and wait until she's totally better. Probably over a month to be on safe side.
