I have spent all week (at least part of most evenings at least) at Hari's in TST. I can update with the following info:

Around a dozen Mongolian girls ranging from just "ok" to absolutely "spectacular" were on show... totally 1,000% MCOT. Also available the usual Filippina and Thai gals, plus a couple of local Chinese. I noticed they were turning away some Chinese girls who were obviously working girls, but allowing all others in no problem. There are some semi resident Fil girls who are a little older than the standard Bar WG, they can be very available at "low pricing" if that's your scene.

At different times during the week there have been some very pretty blonde Russian Gals. Worth a try if you are into that kind of thing. As I was leaving the other night there was one walking up the steps who was breath taking! No usually my scene but I must admit I thought about it, I had already made other arrangements though so I kept on walking.

Interesting to find a number of girls hanging around out side Hari's near the car park, walking up and down Mody Road between the Holiday Inn car park and Nathan Rd. Some at least were girls who were in the bar earlier, looks like they were seeing if punters would try and strike a deal on the way "home". I suspect a good time to check this option out would be near closing time, say after 12:30 / 1:00am.

When you are in the Bar, just find something you like and make eye contact, call her to sit next to you or go sit next to her. Buy her a drink and have a chat, get to know her a little and let her know you are a nice guy... when she clearly feels relaxed, THEN talk price. If you see a "very cool" Bro with his tongue hanging out while talking to Mongol gals, it may be me so please don't embarrass me, just have a great time!

How's the place mid-week?  Any life?  Or is it solely active Friday/Saturday?

I can't say Hari's is for everyone, but I like it. They have a great band that plays about 6 sets a night, in between sets there is only very soft music on CD so you can talk, negotiate etc... Wan Chai Bars sometimes have louder music between sets than then band itself. You look around and laugh as you see all these people "yelling" at each other to be heard. No smoking allowed in Hari's Bar... that's why I quit LOL!


Hit and miss depending on how busy the hotel is. Somehow word gets around, when the hotel is busy, the bar becomes full and the girls come in bigger numbers. Don't get me wrong though, I have had some huge nights mid week in the past. No doubt Fridays and Saturdays are best consistantly.

Tonight I expect to do one of my favourites... The Salami Vanish...

Look forward to your info Bro. It can change week to week depending on external factors like how busy the hotel is, how busy "Hong Kong" is, are you "in between" WG tour groups or smack bang in the middle of a WG tour etc.

I wont go into too much detail, however I can say that WG's need a level of "approval" to work in Hari's. If a stray WG wonders in who doesn't have this approval, does NOT have the "OK", she is asked to leave. This one of the reasons you can often find some lovely looking girls hanging around outside near the car park around midnight... a good place for a bargin, however a lot of quality variation.

I spent the entire last week at Hari's (or at least part of every night). I can say that the action Monday through Saturday was solid. Monday started off with around 6 Mongolian Gals, some Russians, lots of Fils, and an exotic stunner who's ethnicity I could not tell. She was drop dead GORGEOUS with a smile that just lit the room. She had been "chosen" and left early so I never got to talk to her, she didn't appear for the rest of the week... The week built slowly up to Friday when at one point in the evening there was around 20 Mongol Gals.

In reference to arriving "too early", you are spot on about how the bar "transforms" from families having a drink after a day's shopping at 6pm, couples having pre dinner drinks around 730pm. Then around 9pm the businessmen file in... all with expectation in their eyes, finally around 1130pm it's punters and WG's (almost exclusively).

Occasionally you see a couple, maybe husband and wife who just checked into the hotel around 1030pm. It is their first stay in HK and they ask the reception staff "is there anywhere we can relax, have a drink, listen to music?" 1130pm they walk into Hari's Bar holding hands. As they cross the threshold from sterile lounge area to sleezy bar section you can see the look on their faces as it begins to dawn on them where they are and what's going on... The wife has a "this place is disgusting" look on her face while the husband is no doubt thinking "I need to find a way to get back here without the wife"... they are usually gone in 5 minutes, often with the wife almost dragging the husband out the door.

However, I have seen many times, in fact I have done it myself... the early evening "value punt" can be achieved, if you are early and staying at the Holiday Inn or some where close by. Although most girls arrive around 11pm - 1130pm, there are often some early arrivals, say around 8pm. They come early to ensure they get a prime location and also to see if they can get and early punter. Last night for example, at 830pm there were 3 Mongolians, 2 Fils and a Russian. Half the early gals closed an early deal. There is a BARGIN to have if you can agree to a duration that enables the girl to come back for a double header. Make sure you confirm what you are getting in terms of service and time! Get yourself a bargin!

Does the lack of "approval" mean anything?  Are girls rejected simple because the place is too full, or because they're bad apples with a record?

Just wondering if rejection means anything about the quality/safety of the girls milling about outside.

it usually only means the girls aren't "connected".

Bro, the price for gals in bars varies subject to a number of factors. For example:

(1) what do you mean by ST and LT? For example, a regular visitor to HG may say that a ST is 45 mins while a long time is a double session of 90 mins to 2 hours. On the other hand, a ST when you pick a girl up at a bar may mean 2 - 3 hours while a LT may mean over night.

(2) what day is it? Girls want more on Fridays and Saturdays. They want more when the bar is busy and there are lots of punters. Obviously that also means they will accept less on quiet nights when it's cold outside.

(3) chemistry... This is the big one. Walk up to a girl and say "how much bitch?" or have a "I'm better than you attitude" and your price will go up. Act drunk, aggressive, over bearing and your price will be sky high. Buy the girl a drink, relax, listen to some music, have a dance and treat her like a human being instead of a whore and you will get a much better deal. Other issues are common sense... if you own a Rolex, be sure to tell her you bought it at the market... they do look at how you are dressed.

(4) just accept they do not care how "good looking" you are, or you think you are... they care about your money. The only issue is that if they can have some fun and friendship while they are taking your money they like it better. They would much prefer a polite and considerate ugly guy than a handsome prick. Of course, if you're good looking as well that's great... but they don't care. They'd much rather you look "successful".

(5) what are you looking for? Fil, Thai, INDO, Vietnam, Local girl?

Best "value" will be Filipina girls. I have had my share but not really my scene. I know lots of Bros who do their nuts over them though so each to his own... at a Wan Chai Bar it is possible you could get HKD600 ~ 1,000 for an over nighter. She will not be drop dead gorgeous though. I've seen some Bros go back to their room with some average looking gals.

I am basing the prices on really good looking girls 8/10 or better... you will need to talk to them and assess whether or not the service will be good yourself.

These are just "typical" rates. You can put the price up by acting like a jerk. You can reduce the price by being polite and also by seeing the same gal 2 - 3 nights in a row. If you meet a girl at 9pm Friday night and want LT, you will pay more than if you meet her at 1am. You can also get a better price by picking a less beautiful gal. etc...
