One question I have for your Bros in the GFE camp.  Do you always pay/tip/compensate your girl?

My mentor (one of them anyway), who showed me the ways of The Monger, taught me to always pay.  Even when they don't ask/want any money any longer, I was trained to always pay.  Now, I've found ways to make it less obvious...whether its sneaking it in their toilet kit, or slipping it into the pocket as "taxi money" last second, or given simply as "I don't have time to take your shopping, please buy yourself something nice"-money.

Most? So we should view your reports with suspicion?  Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, but I trust they are real and what people say is the truth unless proven otherwise.  If not, then what's the point of this forum.

Really not sure about this on this forum. Most reports are quite honest, sometimes written with a bit of over-enthusiasm and candeur but nothing unbelievable.

Maybe what he wanted to say was "most online stories are bullshit", but the ones in this forum are not....

I do not punt a lot but I promised myself to write a report every time I punt. I spend hours on each report, because I want to capture my exact mood during that punt. That is something very important to me. Now, to have a forum moderator saying that "most online stories are bullshit, written to gain karma or "respect"" is extremely disappointing.

I resent that, given the time and care I, and two others I know personally, put into writing accurate, useful (and hopefully entertaining) reports. I'm sure most on this English forum are like us. Should we not bother to report, if this is what a mod thinks?

I spend quite a bit of time writing up my reports as accurately as possible for other bros enjoyment and also for myself. By posting my punts here i have an online database of my conquests which i can look back on anytime on a safe and secure platform.

I cant keep photos of working girls on my laptop as my SO uses it.

I am offended a mod would suggest I / other bros post purely for Ks or worse respect. You must be kidding people come to a forum like this for respect.

To be honest K counts mean fuck all to me, I am here for the interaction with other bros and if they think my post is worth a K or two thats great.

I have met several bros from this forum who have became very good friends to the point they sit at the restaurant table with me and my SO. I would never had met them if it wasn't for this forum.

I write in a stylized fashion but my reports are as accurate as I can write them. I've spent a lot of time crafting them for this board, original content given freely to all the mongers here, and don't appreciate this hint that somehow I'm making it up.

I suggest you do a bit of introspection and see if you figure out why you're so cynical, kaka.

Having read people's comments, let me say that everybody's reports, regardless of rank, are definitely appreciated, and I understand the amount of time it takes to write one. It is also fantastic watching members develop on the forum. Members like BoPeep who are slowly climbing through the ranks and providing quality reports.  Check out their reports and give as much encouragement as you can. Unless bros can add something fresh that hasn't already be said, it might be better to get back on topic. It has been interesting reading bros' viewpoints on this:

It's interesting to read everyone's comments here.  I can appreciate what you're all saying -- and I agree with everything you're saying -- but I can also understand where Kaka is coming from.  

I was a major participant in a US board called thebigdoggie for about a decade.  Members posted reviews, they gained notoriety and respect... Then  they realized that they could sway other members' purchase decisions.  Then they made it clear to the ladies that they could sway other members' purchase decisions -- and they could get freebies/benefits in return.  So reviews gradually stopped being honest reviews and became pseudo advertisements.  This distortion is a real issue (I think we have had this problem with a few former members here).

And then there is also the problem of someone who distorts reports in order to create a "larger-than-life" online persona.  I'm sure this happens, but it's really hard for me to understand this motivation.  Do any of us really care what other guys' online personas are?

I read what Kaka said and my first thought is, yep, that happens. His statement that it applies to "most" reports is an overstatement, but it is an overstatement in reference to overstatements, that's ironic.

In reading forum history, there was at one point a massive subversion of the rating system to gain Ks if my reading comprehension is correct. I've seen zero evidence of it recently, but it did occur.

As far as validity of reports, if you've read any P4P forums at all you can easily have a discerning eye for bullshit reports and posters. We have had some here and they were all tagged rather quickly as farce.

My gold standard for report authenticity is very easy. Can I replicate the experience of the reporting punter myself? An excellent example of this is the many reports written by TD, Wander, TonyToro, and others about bar and club punting in HK and Wan Chai specifically. I, even as a rank noob in Wan Chai went out on my first opportunity and bedded what to this day is still one of the three hottest, sexiest, most passionate women I've ever been with in my punt filled life. That my friend is empirical quantitative data validation. No need to retest the theorem or contact the initial source for further clarification. What they said, worked, I followed their handbook and I got laid like an old carpet. Perfect.

So,Kaka, I'm not offended. I also utilize my own variable sized bullshit filter in the punting forum multi-verse. I am confident in my personal reporting, I enjoy writing. In most cases, I more often than not truncate my reports to just highlights.

To get back to the original question, I've found my own style has changed a little with age. Now I like even more to be able to chat, or even better, have a laugh with the woman (one reason I love the Thais who come here: quite good English and often wicked senses of humour, TR Emmanuel in particular). No rushing is brilliant.
The women themselves tell me there are large cultural differences in terms of what guys expect/demand, and what they give in return.
Then there are universal issues, like kindness, thoughtfulness and little gifts being highly appreciated.

If I had to stop being stupid, and have fun voicing my sometimes poorly formed opinions and one liners on the board just because I'm mod, I'd give up.  Sure, I'm happy to help out deleting spam and drafting sticky threads, but the real fun is participating on the board.  And If I say something stupid, people can argue with me.  

Actually copied reports bother me more than fake ones.  At least the bullshit artist has crafted the damn thing himself.  As has been said, most of us can spot bs and call people on it pretty fast.   But it is harder to spot copies - that needs lots of eyes from people who participate on multiple boards around the world.  You don't have to be a janitor to help pick up litter.

Mongering style - I'm not sure I've changed much.  I still pick the hottie from the lineup when I should be concentrating on the one with the beaming smile.  But how else do you find the girls with both?  I guess where I've changed is in length of session, very rarely doing the 1 hour sessions now.  There's no time for spooning, or midnight tickle fights in a short session.
