Going with some buddies so maybe a DG get-together? I've been scouting the airfare...much more expensive than last year Anyway...if there are other bros planning to go around that time I will update here with airfare deals I find any. Not sure if this should go in the China forum or stay here to discuss airfare.

SZ as in shenzhen? i try to stay away from there because of many stories from my buddies about it being dangerous, have fun and be safe on your trip and thanks for the tip

#7 Post at 26-10-2010 17:40  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L Reply #4 johndoe83's post johndoe, i think the WG's leave from xiachuan during that time because it is no longer warm so there are barely any tourists visiting the beach areas during that time. although...CNY is early this year (Feb. 3rd/4th?) and i have heard of the WGs leaving as early as a month in advance to avoid the holiday rush and they definitely try to book their tickets home early as well. Kaleu, not sure what the October prices are but my buddies booked late Dec. (26-28th) for under 1100USD. prices went up last week but came back down this past weekend, doubt it will get much cheaper...maybe a little under 1000USD, but thats taking a chance. Chillfreak, i will be nearby during that time, where will you be?

#8 Post at 27-10-2010 15:40  Profile P.M.  Font size: S M L I see.  Well looks like January to February is shot then.  Besides the work trip I'll be taking, my next return trip will have to bellater in the summer then.  Flight prices are going up though.  They used to have a deal 800 usd for flight and 4 night hotel stay (two people required) but you can't find those anymore even booking 3 months ahead.
