Tipping best practices in Thailand

Hello everyone,

When I read reports i do see several people tipping the WG and some others not. As the tipping culture may vary from 1 country to the other, does anyone knows what's the best practices in Thailand?
- Do you guys tip the WG?
- If you tip her, what do you base on to do it?
- How do you evaluate the quantity? percentage of the original price? Quality of show?

Thanks for your answers. Regards

In my opinion it’s nothing different to other service oriented jobs like waiter  and so on.  If I m happy with the service I give tip. There is not such a big of discussion when tipping the waitress than tipping the WGs.
But I can understand the argumentation that to high tips will ruin the product and
expectations get higher.
