If you're new to Hong Kong's mongering scene, you should head straight to Jordan in the evenings.
In my opinion, Jordan has become the epicenter of mongering in Hong Kong. That title used to belong to Mongkok, but Mongkok has thinned and mellowed out in recent years. Jordan has large variety and quantity and runs from super cheap to mid-priced. You can also conveniently walk between any two points on the mongering map within 15 minutes.
Speaking of Mongkok, Jordan is today what Mongkok used to be. Jordan's streetworkers are mostly illegals who will scatter at the sight of police. This used to be Mongkok. Now, the Mongkok girls are all legit... and that makes for less interesting mongering.
There is a massive night market running along Temple Street that draws countless locals and tourists from 6pm until midnight. Undoubtedly, all this traffic encourages ladies to ply their trade here.
There is action around the clock but the most are between 9pm until wee hours. The street vendors start closing around midnight but the girls will remain for much longer.
The best thing about this area is, there is a convenient MTR stop (see map).
Jordan is probably the dodgiest area in all of Hong Kong. Despite it being run down, it's still far safer than most Western cities. Hong Kong in general is already very safe. In Jordan, there are also lots of police patrolling the area. Also, criminals must be aware that if they commit crime, they will very likely be witnessed by many people and fleeing the scene will be difficult.
Despite appearances, trust me...this area is SAFE with only minimal precaution needed for pickpockets.

STREETWALKERS
They're mostly lined along Temple street and Shanghai street. Others are scattered here and there in the map area. When you ask for price, they will likely flash two fingers to denote $200. This is the cheapest form of mongering in Hong Kong. But if you're non-Asian, prepare to see 3-5 fingers.
You can easily identify streetwalkers by their dress, their stare, and them just standing around doing nothing.
Some girls are passing out flyers for what appears to be foot massage services. It's just a front.
Don't expect many stunners here, but there are gems to be found.
Service is basic. They often don't even shower before the act. BJ is not expected, let alone BBBJ. But working girls being working girls, you can always offer to pay more for what you want. The problem is language.

There is one mega cluster (Foremost Bldg at 19-21 Jordan Rd) and two smaller ones (66 Parkes and 61-63 Pilkem). See the database for more information.
Price is $300-$450. Probably $50-$100 for non-Asians. Many can get by on rudimentary English skills.
DOORWAY PIMPS
There are pimps (which can be men or women) on the doorways of dodgy buildings along Temple. When you pass, they may quietly say something like "young girls" to you. If you bite, they will direct you or lead you up some grimy stairs to see his/her inventory.
In most countries, I would urge you not to follow someone into a dark building. But it's really OK in Joradn. Like I said earlier, crime is not much a problem in Jordan. If you don't like what you see up there, you can refuse. They'll probably give a short sales pitch, but they don't get offended.
Prices are $220 to $250. Like for the streetgirls, expect rudimentary services and amenities.
