A Random thought:

We have a wide variety of members of our discrete community here. I assume most are Chinese, either from Hong Kong or given this is an English language forum, from overseas. As all of you know, I am an old Gwailo who has been in HK for a while.

Sometimes I walk around Hong Kong and see an older (40’s) gwailo chick, usually overweight or at least saggy, wrinkled and out of shape . I immediately think to myself, “If I was living in Canada now (my home), this is what I am supposed to be fxxing”.

I then thank fate and luck for putting me here in HK with my beautiful and slender Chinese wife, and the depth and ready availability of the P4P opportunities that exist here. My life would never be the same if I lived in my own country .

Folks, appreciate what we got here. Never take it for granted. Particularly you Gwailos

For us Foreigners, it can be hard to pick the age of Asian women. Certainly it is a general observation that Chinese women seem to keep a nice figure and look "younger" for longer than Western women (although when they do age it seems to be rather sudden). Occasionally you will see a tourist couple wondering around HK, Perhaps in their mid - late 40s, both well past their prime. As they browse the shops and fend off copy watch and cheap suit salesman "another couple" will catch the eye of the husband...him: early 50s, about 20KGs overweight, bald, but with a grin from ear to ear... her: could be as young as 25 (but who knows) beautiful face, lovely figure, clearly in love...

You can see the split second where the first Bro looks at his late 40s bride and the "trade in" goes through his mind.... I guess that's what you're talking about.

But I am not bald and only about 4 kg overweight. Any my Chinese wife is 40 but looks much less.

Yes, you may have a slender and pretty Chinese wife but this still isn't quite enough. It never is for most of us even if we have a young and pretty GF. There is just too much temptation. For those in HK it's paradise, for those in China it is truly heaven on earth.

Yes, no matter how slim and lovely the wife/S.O. is right now, there will come a time(sooner rather than later if the wife is caucasian) when there are younger, prettier and newer models available in the showroom and temptation rears it's head once again. Curses I say...curses...what's a guy to do but sample them all?

It is not just the gweilos who should not take HK for granted.  You should include all the overseas Chinese/Asians too.  Why, you may ask?

Have you been to LKF lately?  Well I go often and I have to tell you that many of the HK-returnees or young overseas Asian kids are chubby.  

Overseas Chinese/Asian girls from years ago were always heavier than local girls, but at least those were still within the low to mid-range of the BMI for their height.  But now, omg, what have these kids been eating in Australia, Canada, UK, USA, New Zealand, Europe?

So now the only difference many of these young overseas girls have against their Caucasian counterparts is that they still look young for their age, but she will still be fat.  

I myself fear relocating back home and taking my SO with me because every guy back home will be lusting after my SO because she will be considered to having a model figure (not here though) over there.  

Everyday I enjoy HK every time I am outside on the streets or shopping centre.  My neck never gets tired from all the swiveling to get second looks at the cuties here.  

I couldn't agree more. My wife is local and considerably younger than me and, well, you all know about my various 'adventures'...we are all truly blessed! Happy New Year!

I know just what you mean. When I  came here 15 years ago and traveled to china a lot you could easily see the difference in HK and Guangzhou women, principally because of the diet. HK women had larger tits than the Chinese women. Now the diets in China are richer and everyone gets chunky.

Yes, when my wife and I visit Canada everyone stares at the babe and remarks how skinny and fit she it. I mean, really she is maybe slightly above HK average, the difference being she knows how to put herself together well, having attended a fashion school in the US. But you can imagine Canada, corn fed heifers, none less than 140 lbs . Granted, I like the big tits  but not the big asses and cellulite legs and "me me me " attitude you get from chicks in Canada and America.

No matter how amazing your SO is, once you have crossed that mongering line, how can you resist an ocean of choicest choice.

I personally find one thing very annoying about north american chiks nowadays, they all have this " wannabe " reality star attitude.  Often really crass, loud and obnoxious.  Pretty girls with upper arms the size of a firemen is not cool.

One thing that has not been mentioned here is the more tolerant and understanding attitude of the Asian ladies. One eye open one eye closed thing.

Our ladies understand that the most important thing in life is the family and if it means "not knowing" what exactly the husband is doing all of the time and at all of the places - and just so long as the family is preserved and the couple maintain the dignity of the matrimonial union - well, that's all that a lot of them expects out of life.

without being too specific, my SO is of "Mediterranean" background and sometimes it's like being with a cop! She can tell when I'm up to no good just by instinct. She has super hearing, super smell, super eyesight and super taste... One of the reasons I confine my punting to travel destinations is because I just know I'd get caught if I punted regularly at home.

I have to say I appreciate what we have here in women. I am a 50 something overweight qweilo and have a pretty slim 30 somthing local wife. Several 20 something chinese GF and I still have to monger. I know when I move back this will all end except for the SO she will come with me.

Hmm, from your statement I can assume you are under 40 yo.  

Once a guy passes his 40 yo birthday, the guy's pickup / successful flirting rate improves a lot.  You learn to not care whether what you say to the girl gets you action or not.  You just say things just to enjoy some conversation.  It is that calm (calmness is important), nonchalance attitude that seems to attract the younger girls. They think you are so mature and full of wisdom compared to the guys of their generation.  

Secondly this being Asia, there is a lot of respect for those who are older plus it is expected for the men to spend their early working years establishing their careers before settling down with a spouse.  So age gaps of 5-8 years are quite common and 10-20 years not unheard of.  

Thirdly because so many fathers here work so hard at work and were not at home everyday, too many girls here didn't get enough fatherly attention.  This was even worse in families that pampered the males over the females.  So you have a situation where there are quite a number of girls who are looking for a substitute 'daddy' figure for a bf/hubby.     

Fourthly, hopefully by time you have reached 40 yo, your own EQ and flirting skills will have become quite good that it is easy for you to meet girls of any age.  There are no special skills, just practicing the ones you have been using you were a teenager until they become second nature.


I myself grew up overseas where hanging out or dating a girl more than 4-5 years younger was considered 'robbing the cradle' or creepy.  But in HK, I have met many girls in their 20s, some were almost 2 decades younger than I am.  Quite a number of them wanted to date me but I couldn't because I have a SO already.  It was unsettling at first hanging/dating such young girls, but I became quite used to it after hearing this statement quite often, "Age is just a number between lovers".
