[Manila] Sim Cards

Going to Manila at the end of the month for a business trip. Anyone got suggestions on where to buy SIM cards with data or if it's worth it? Prices, etc.

Also, is Uber a better idea than the local taxis?

Yeah, that makes sense, I was just wondering if there are any preferred shops or if it's best to buy at airport or better deals other places.

As Dumbo said, get a Globe sim. You can buy from shops and kiosks in malls if you dont get at the airoprt.

Regarding Uber, yes I reccomend it in Manila. I find the experience less hassle than dealing with regular taxis.

Yes, you can buy the SIM at airport. Very easy also to buy more load if beeded during the stay.

For taxi usage ALWAYS check the prize before entering the taxi. Better if taxi is using meter.

You can get a visitor SIM for free in the airport. I don't remember how much data or mins include but it's free. Just go to the Globe stand and ask for one and that's it.
