I have been flirting with a hot work colleague (orig from Thailand but lived in HK long time). She is bisexual and flirts like crazy (for HK anyway). We often eat lunch together and really get on very well - she's a real tease - always trying to rub my leg under the table or sit 'right' next to me whenever we eat in a group. Other local colleagues are gossiping! Anyway she's quite clearly up for it and I think she could keep a secret  - might arrange an 'overnight trip' somewhere while the wife is away. However she has an on/off partner (female) and I am married. She will be working with me for another year at least so things could get messy. Another thing is maybe she is too full on - like she'll put her arms around my shoulder to say hello in public whichis really noticeable to my HK colleagues, but she's really hot, great sense of humour and very openminded. Perhaps I'm walking right into a sexual harassment trap like the oz woman set up in the other post.

Any older bro's like to share their experience here - anyone managed to have their cake and eat it? or is it a cert that she's going to go crazy and ruin my marriage/job?

On the other hand I worry to much - I keep thinking my wife has installed a keylogger on the pc and knows everything I type - even though she can barely send an email! Maybe her next copy of Elle magazine will have a step-by-step guide to using internet surveillance to catch your wandering husband......... - see what I mean!

For Gods sake man!  Read your own post!  Nothing good is going to come of this, and there may already be irreparable harm done to your work image. Unless you want the same image problems in your personal life get away from her.

I'm actually being very restrained! She kept asking me what I was doing every weekend and I kept telling her the truth, family stuff.  She knows when my wife goes away in a few weeks and I'm sure she'll ask to meet up for a day out hiking or some other bs,don't know if I have the power to say no. That's what I've got to say though as I've got a sixth sense she's going to be bad news in the long run.

She'll probably leave my work later next year, do you think I should play the long game and strike after she leaves?

If you're serious about your career you should forget this girl. Just think of what you're doing. You are a married man so go get some professional from the 141DB. Make it a lifelong motto not to mess with girls that work in your office. In the past, I've been tempted but I draw a line when it's someone that works in the office, particularly when you're in a more senior position.

highly recommend you to avoid this kind of office romance especially after you have married already. i saw few times of this happened on my colleagues and at the end they were usually either asked to leave or relocate to other countries. If you read newspaper, some big tragedy did happen too.
