Bros, have been lurking here for a while and very enjoyable reading.
From your guys vast knowledge of the scene, what would you suggest for a first timer in HK ?
Sauna / HG / Walk up ?
TBH, I wud be a bit "shy" in find my way up to Floor whatever in one of the mansions, so do'nt thnk that would be an option for me.
I am staying in TST.

Make some friends. Do you have any friends who can go with you to explore in HK ?
I know it hard to make friends on a forum because you don't have any history or creditability.  Nobody knows anything about you. Like where are you from ?  Your personality.

Suggest offering to buy dinner and drinks. Depending on your budget, maybe pay for some other expenses for the night.

Try venturing down Wan Chai 1 night? - I am sure a Bro will have no problem meeting you for a beer or letting the you the best places to go.

I suggest you and REBELHAMMER get together for a drink. After that, see how you two fit and get alone then go on some hunting trips together.  First step is a PM to each other.  Might try to find a third newbie.

You might create some life long friendships.

I would have a preference for staying on TST side. I am staying in HI Golden Mile and I read about Hari's Bar, so that seems like a good starting point.
I suppose my question really was, would you guys recommend Sauna or HG for a first timer ?

If you are staying at TST,   you could try Hari's.     But personally I find the atmosphere there very quiet and uncomfortable.

Near the same area is Sticky Fingers.    Live Rock-n-Roll bands and usually can pull some talent out of there.   And lots of SW around if you just stand outside for 5 mins.    They will come running up to you.

But maybe save that for day 3.

For your first time I recommend catching the MTR to wan chai.   Walk around some of the bars over there.   Not the flashy velvet curtains bars,  but neptunes II,  Makati, Escape, Traffik.
You can chat up a nice girl, have some drinks, and then pull a nice WG for an overnighter.

Then on day 2
You have to try a TST HG.     Call the papsan for an appt after having your top 5 list handy.
Either get a local HK number (more convenient for call backs) or you can call from your computer using skype.
I dont think you would be able or up for walk up service on your first trip unless you are a seasoned mongerer from other countries/places.

I personally have never been to k-pressure or 37dundas so I can not comment on those.

It's been a long enough since my first punt I almost forgot how intimidating it can be.

The bar scene, my favorite, is not for everyone as it is a rather  "public" place to be picking up hookers.  There is no doubt on anyone's mind why you are there.  Early on I recall going to a few bars (different city) but just walking out after a quick beer as I felt uncomfortable with walking or being seen with a WG.  (A tip -  after meeting the girl I want I tell her to meet me at my hotel in 5 minutes or so).  Not once has the girl failed to show up, and it saves that embarrassing walk down the street together.  Turns out they usually prefer separate paths aswell.

A sauna is a real easy first-time method.  Most have great facilities, super clean, professional/discrete staff, and many hot chicks.  There is nothing to be intimidated about at all.  I might suggest this for a newbie.  A bar like NeptuneII often illicits a "holy shit" response from anyone new to punting.

From your comments of "To be Honest, I am shy" and a rookie,  I don't think the bar scene is for you.  You will have a hard time approaching girls.

I think the sauna is better for you because the girls do most of the work and treat you like a king.

Hari's bar, according to reports on here, is a pick up place and I am in that hotel anyway. But most reports say it come to
life for the weekend, I arrive Tuesday and leave Friday, so is there any action there mid-week ?
