will bring it with you be tax by the government when entering HK? i hear if you bring an iphone with you to china you maybe tax is that true? does that go with the ipad2? and if not how many do you think we can bring with us?

It would not make any sense to tax a person iPhone that is brought in for personal use and not for sale.

It hasn't officially reached asia yet, how can it be old?

Hong Kong is mostly import tax free, those tax only apply if you take iPhone (suspected not for personal use) into china, when you cross the border to China.

I think to buy apple product to bring it to China for sell is not necessary.
In HK many people want to buy them (Ipad 2 and Iphone 4).

Now the question is if the Ipad 2 had the same amount of person than for the Iphone 4.
We can see that many person already buy the Ipad and the Ipad 2 has not so many additional feature.
It is not revolutionary. It may not worth to upgrade from ipad to ipad 2.
