Where to stay in HK

Hi guys, I will stop over at Hong Kong for 3 days. Looking to sight seeing during the day time and punting at night. So far I've been looking at the hotel/ airbnb in Hong Kong Island (Soho district).

Any recommendation on which area I should stay at. I hope to enjoy the bar girl scenes in HK.

Thanks

I always stay at the Renaissance in Wanchai - a quick walk to the bars (HK Cafe, Neptune 3, etc.). Star Ferry is across the street from the hotel to get over to Kowloon. Great location for me.

Thanks! So that's around the Wan Chai area? Is that a better area to go to the bars and meet girls compare to Soho and Lan Kwai Fong?

Definitely Wanchai. That's where the action is.
Last trip I stayed at the Kew Green Hotel (formerly Metropark) on Hennessy Rd. Reasonably quiet and just a minute or two from the bars.
