good luck, meeni....   by the way, the MONTREAL CANADIENS are up 1-0. it's going to be a great Series and very tough, especially with the Charra vs Max HIT. yes, i know it's a 7 games

series but BOTH TEAMS can win or lose on any given night. a game 7 would be fucking awesome and may the BEST TEAM WIN, meeni.....   i do like the BRUINS because of Mark Recchi

whom i met in person and he's really, really freaking kool and down to earth, plus MARK RECCHI WAS ONE OF THE BEST TIPPERS WHEN HE WAS A MONTREAL CANADIENS....   i also have

plenty of pics taken with 12+ HABS: Shane Corson, Saku Koivu, Martin Rucinsky, Trevor Linden, Zarley Zalapsky, Vincent Damphousse, Valeri Bure, Dave Manson, Brett Clark, Patrice Brisebois,

Mike Keane, Stephane Quintal, Craig Rivet, Brian Savage, Turner Stevenson, Darcy Tucker, Igor Ulanov, Dainius Zubrus & a few more. All the HABS players that i met are Super Kool and have

Great and Tremendous Personalities .....     Now you know why I LOVE THE MONTREAL CANADIENS even MORE............

yes, i did LOVE the RED WINGS when CHRIS CHELIOS was playing but if they played the HABS, sorry-ah.....  I NEVER GO AGAINST THEM UNLESS THEY ARE OUT OF THE SERIES.....

since we won Game 1, let's see what happens in Game 2. Detroit has alot of HEART and SKILL but the Goalie is ok. i really loved watching Dominik Hasek when he was there with all that Star

POWER with BRETT HULL, LUC ROBITAILLE, STEVE YZERMAN, SERGEI FEDOROV and BOB PROBERT (one of the BEST FIGHTERS IN HOCKEY). Good Luck to your Red Wings,

i will treat YOU TO MALAYSIA (LA) if Red Wings beat the HABS in the Finals, ok-la? but you have to fly to LOS ANGELES on your own, i can't afford the plane ticket......            kool?

Likely Hockey will overtake the NBA on this list, the NBA will lose between $350 - 400 million this year coming of $200 million losses in the previous 2 years. It's promoted in China very well because of Yao, and people in China have bought into that, relatively small size playing arena helps in China, as does lack of equipment required. However in the US it isn't as relevant as it was in the Jordon days.

In terms of the sports on this list, Major League Baseball is the overwhelming leader with more than 73 million fans. Of course in baseball they play 162 games in 180 days... however an average attendance of 30,000+ given that many games all of which are on TV is amazing and something no other sport could duplicate. The NFL for example averages 68,000 fans per game, however each team plays only 8 home games per year. I'm not a huge Hockey fan but it's a great sport to watch live. I have very little interest in the NBA, a lot of the players are morons and the concept of scoring a goal and then giving the ball back artificially attempts to keep games close and has way too much impact because of the small size of the court. A 6'6" Bro put's his arms up and he's 9'6". He jumps 6" off the ground and puts a ball in a stationary hoop from POINT BLANK RANGE... so what???

Hoping the Rangers win the Stanley Cup!

thanks for the super kool stats, TonyToro...   Rangers do have a good team but they lack scoring power. too bad they met the

Capitols in the first round. the way Washington is playing now and before the Playoff's started, it's gonna be super tough. yes, the 8th

seeded HABS did it last year but Rangers lack somthing that Montreal had a little better overall. the only thing keeping the Rangers at

bay is Lundqvist's awesome goaltending and Drury was at Best when he was an Avalanche player. come on, he had Peter Forsberg,

Adam Foote, Milan Hejduk, and Patrick Roy in those glory days. i miss that Avallanche Team. do you remember when they had at

one point, Teemu Selanne, Ray Bourque, and Paul Kariya? but you NEVER know, the Rangers can step it up and beat he Caps in 4

straight. shit happens in the Playoffs every single year in all kinds of sports.....  being number in regular season DOESN'T mean jack

shit in the playoff's.......   who would have guessed that the Sabres beat the Flyers in game 1...?  i had my money on Phili...... luckily,

it's a 7 game series.....        just curious, why do you like the Rangers, TonyToro? the players you like? the team?

thanks again for your super kool stat info you posted too......    by the way, I AM NOT TALKING SHIT AT YOU.....     please don't

misunderstand me, ok-la?        thanks, bud.....

oh, ic....   that's kool. i was a HUGE NY GIANTS fan back in the early 80's when "LAWRENCE TAYLOR, PHIL SIMMS, and CARL BANKS" were together......  too bad LT was into cocaine,

other lethal drugs and other legal problems after and during his career. it's such a waste when a SUPERSTAR ATHLETE falls to that kind of trap and has no REAL FAMILY LOVE to really guide

him. good luck to your Rangers, TonyToro.....    if you make it past the first round and after, don't meet up with my HABS....   it's gonna be a great series to watch........  and lots of chit-chat

between you and i.....    of course, in all proper Conduct and Sportsmanship from me.....

sports?

Honestly speaking, hockey is a low priority in american sports but its been growing so good for the nhl!

College basketball has tonnes of viewers but if you ask about college hockey, its not as big a deal in the usa. College football in the US is also big. So groeing the sport from grassroots really helps. Canadian players actually grow up and play in US colleges to get a scholarship in hopes someone will draft them.

We'll see if the hard work in the youth and minot leagues has helped the other leagues.

All forms of sport where there is body contact is a tough sport. I dont care if it is rugby or us football, soccer or aussie rules, its all tough.  I respect an athelete who can take a little pain or a lot and get back up and keep fighting for their profession.

Obtw canucks and rangers and the rangers take it. Repeat 94

NHL playoffs is all out which goalie gets hot for a few weeks, and literally carry a team.

The Boston vs Montreal series is going to be great for so many reasons, and we get to see which goalie out shines the other.

And what will be interesting is if Miller from Buffalo knock off Philly, even though his didn't have a very regular season he's a far better and established goalie compared to what Philly has.

Im not saying id like to see the canucks lose buy the ranger are down 2 games and msg is going to be rocking. I think they are going to tie the series.

Canucks, canadian! I want both teams to make it. Nothing would make me happier than to see two canadian teams match up.  That way we know lord stanley would be coming home either way!

Live games

The Keg over in LKF used to show some live games. I know for a fact that ASN has them live (and a repeat in the evening).

I've been trying to get the games to stream online live since most of the games are during work hours but no such luck!

the Series is already over....     Montreal Canadiens win in 4 straight........   Price is looking great and everyone on the HABS are playing 110%. i thought the bruins would put up a much better

fight and than what they are doing now. what the fuck, boston? they do have great players and one the best goalies in the league but they WON'T WIN in MONTREAL........   i guess this is the

REAL PAYBACK for Charra's hit on Max P......     let's go "BLEU, BLANC et ROUGE".....   Les Canadiennes vont Gagner dans 4.......    who are you taking, flinger?

I still think this series will go 7. The Bruins will start hammering the smaller Canadiens and it will take its toll on them.

Hate bandwagoners
