Why do we see the ladies of the night? Is it because we feel we can only truly be ourselves with these ladies. They listen to us they do not judge us, for 30 minutes or 1 hour we are in a place so beautiful and peaceful. Then we disappear into the night back to our families, partners, wishing why life is not always like the 30 minutes or 1 hour is.


Life is a journey, sometimes hard sometimes not hard, we can make it what we want it to be, easy or hard by letting other people help us on the way. If I am a Sherpa and I carry the bags I have helped. If I pick the traveller up when they have fallen, I have helped and when I fall they will come and pick me up. Sharing the load we carry makes the journey of life much easier.

As we travel on our journey we will pass many others on the same journey, do we stop and talk or do we walk by. Let us stop and share the journey's we are taking, for every person we meet on life's path is a teacher and we will learn from them as they will learn from us. What happens on life's journey does not matter, there will lows and highs but what is important is when we arrive at our destination that we have learnt who we are.

Where is the destination we are travelling to? When we discovered who we are we will also discover the destination until then are we lost? I think yes because at the journey's end there is what we all want- peace, true love, friendship and acceptance for who we are, maybe we will not be perfect but now we are true to ourselves.

Let us share the loads we carry for they are too heavy for one person, but together they are not. Let us not take everything we can but give everything we can, when we give we shall be given far more than we could have taken.

i'm not sure if you're preaching to the right crowd...

i personally spend time with these ladies to escape for a little while as reality bites
and i don't need anyone to carry by burden, i just need a breather, a short time out if you will
then i'll carry on as a normal human being
