From the recent report of Blackbeards (BB) in Dominican Republic (DR), I searched the net a bit. BB seems to be priced very reasonable. I checked out the other "all inclusive" resorts and you pay roughly more than a US$1000 per night, girl and room included. I don't know what they have been smoking. But who on earth pays that much for punting one girl for a night? The whole point of going to a third world country is to pay a lot less. Anyway, it seems like Venezuela also has this kind of resorts. I just came upon Hotel Cocal  at Costa Rica which has a similar thing going on l ike BB. I assume that this is quite popular in the Latin America. Anybody else wants to share their experience? like which spots are your favorite and such?

I actually heard a lot from travelers at BBs about those $1000 per night places. THEY SUCK BIG TIME. They just drop on a regular adult resort (couples, old people etc) with a girl. The girls are not even hot. It's basically someone looking for an all inclusive package deal - BBs is that - You book a room and airport pick up. That's it. From there girls are available, as you wish.

BBs is unique. The girls have been screened (physically, mentally and medically) to be able to work there. There is mamsaan on site all the time, who regulates if girls get out of hand or encourage them to get a little wild if things are slow. There are rules and girls will not pester you too much. Alternative to this place is called Field of Dreams in Dominican Republic as well. Better rooms and facilities but hmm girls are little more wild (not in a positive way)

Hotel Del Ray is in San Jose, Costa Rica - Just Google it.

Hotel CoCal is not like BBs - Just girls just move in and out of it like large bar (it's actually a Casino) No shifts or screening and prices have to be negotiated unlike BBs where everything is fixed, you just pick which girl you want.

I am scheduled to Travel to Curacao to Campo Alegre - Another User posted a trip report about it. It's more like large a walkup building (setup more like a US strip shopping mall, horizontal not vertical) but has a large bar in the center. Prices are not fixed in stone but everyone knows what's nominal. It's like 60 year old establishment. I will post a report upon return.

So I guess it all depends on what you're looking for, but unless you desperately need an all-inclusive resort you should skip it. They are expensive(relatively speaking) and the quality/value just isn't there. Honestly, the DR is just not that great. It has poor infrastructure/venues/hotels. Unless you're flying direct to POP from NYC or MIA(pretty convenient) it really isn't worth the effort. I'm not a fan of Campo either. It's a pretty dire looking place on the wrong side of Curaçao. The chicken is mostly colombian, venezuelan or dominican. IMHO you're always better off going to the source.

I would suggest Medellín or Bogotá in Colombia. Buenos Aires is also excellent if Argentina isn't too far away for you. San José, Costa Rica is also nice and easier to get to for most. Although they have more imports, and thus quality fluctuation, than the other locations.

So if you want safe bets places to stay that will make it easy for you.

So poblado is the only one that doesn't offer dick Cheney style hunting, but if you talk to Barry or Luis they can sort you out or just do a little research. MDE is fantastic. Oh and venezuela is a mess right now. Save yourself the aggravation and just go to Bogotá. Half of Venezuela is there right now.

Could you recommend some spots in Buenos Aires? I've been to a couple of the masagistas years ago but am looking for some places to hit up after the clubs, preferably not the late-night clubs where you have to take them out

My friend raves about Bogota, Colombia.  Beautiful women, very reasonable prices.

Columbia seems to be the place to go at the moment. A lot of them are religious and Catholic, so many of them prefer anal over vaginal sex. It can be more fun, but becareful about STD's.
